General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Carly Runs Interference – Pays Lab Tech For Fake Nina-Willow DNA Results?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will run interference to keep Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) from finding out she lied. Still not knowing that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) needs a bone marrow transplant, she’ll do anything to keep the truth undercover that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is her mother.
General Hospital Spoilers – Maintaining The Lie
If Carly was in the loop about Willow’s leukemia, she might think better of keeping that secret for Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) who didn’t want Willow to know her birth mother. Harmony said Nina would ruin Willow’s life and cause all kinds of pain, and Carly agreed and Willow would agree even more. But with her twin sister Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) deceased and her only blood relatives unknown to her, Willow’s time is running out.
But even more than her grudge match with Nina, Carly’s keeping the secret so Drew won’t know she lied to him. He had helped her get something with Willow’s DNA to test against Nina’s and she’d promised to tell him the true results either way, but she didn’t.
General Hospital Updates – Drew Cain Is Determined To Find The Truth
Drew knew that Harmony had claimed Nina was Willow’s mother, but since Carly said the DNA test showed she didn’t, he fell for the lie. But now he seems as desperate as Willow and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) are to find Willow’s family of origin. Carly can’t figure out why, although wanting to know about the family to make sure there were no genetic disorders does make sense; after all, Michael had one. Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) inherited Michael’s heart defect and it was a battle with Nelle to get it corrected, she didn’t want Wiley to have the surgery. They had to have his surgery done behind Nelle’s back and there was a huge brouhaha over that.
Carly Spencer Has To Cover Quickly
Drew is now getting too close to finding out the truth when Carly finds out he wants to run Willow’s DNA for a match at GH! She has to cover quickly and goes to the lab, and pays a lab tech to fake a duplicate test and give her the original one she paid for. She’ll put it in a safety deposit box she has at her bank so no one will ever know about it until after she dies.
By that time it will be too late most likely for Nina to have any reason to know Willow was her daughter and Nelle’s twin. And Carly should be safe from Drew knowing she lied about the DNA match because the only record will be the fake test she just paid for.
