General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will re-evaluate some of her friendships, even those who are like family in an upcoming episode of General Hospital. She’ll decide that her former sister-in-law Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) cannot be trusted based on the outcome of her trying to handle Peter August (Wes Ramsey) on her own and her months keeping Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) survival a secret!!
General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves Could Have Avoided A Lot Of Problems
General Hospital viewers will recall that Nina could have avoided a lot of problems if she hadn’t tried to handle Peter August (Wes Ramsey) on her own. Nina sent him on a wild goose chase after Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) to St. Lucia, even though there was another bad actor at play behind the scenes. General Hospital viewers will recall that it was later revealed that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) fabricated the whole Huntington’s Disease conference in St. Lucia, to get Liesl to get on a plane that he diverted to Cassadine Island! General Hospital viewers suspect that apparently he didn’t let Peter in on his plans! If Nina had not sent Peter on that wild goose chase, he may not have tried to kill her and Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) by burning down the Tan-O! She should have contacted the authorities immediately, and Peter would have already been history! Maxie pores over all of that information in her mind and comes to the conclusion that Nina thinks too much with her heart and not enough with her head, which equals very poor judgment!
General Hospital Updates – Nina Reeves Should Have Told Sonny Corinthos Who He Was
General Hospital viewers know that Nina should have at least told Sonny who he really was when he still had amnesia and was living as “Mike”. True, General Hospital viewers will recall that when she broached the subject with him in some episodes a few weeks ago that he didn’t want to know. But if she had forced the issue on him and helped him research who Sonny was and what he did, at least Sonny as “Mike” could have made the decision on his own in an informed manner! Sonny may or may not have wanted to return to his old life in Port Charles and to the mobbed-up life as “Mike”, but at least he would have had some answers. Who knows, maybe as Sonny, he would have had Peter eliminated before the arson and attempted murder he perpetrated at the Tan-O! Sonny also would have known he had a family waiting for him in Port Charles and could have made an informed decision – Nina took away his right to know! Maxie also considers this when she reconsiders her relationship with Nina.
Maxie Jones May Not Totally Cut Nina Reeves Off But She Cannot Trust Her
General Hospital viewers know that Maxie may not totally cut Nina off or cut ties with her, but she definitely cannot trust her. Maxie realizes that she cannot talk to Nina about sensitive information such as her children, and especially about Louise August (the Odell-Diaz twins).
General Hospital viewers know that Maxie will be afraid if she entrusted anything to Nina in confidence, even though Nina was trying to protect James West (Owen and Curtis Rufca) from Peter, she could be naïve enough to let something slip to someone she wouldn’t dream would be a problem! Peter has spies everywhere and they are probably the same spies that Victor Cassadine has. Peter knew exactly where Maxie herself was when she stopped by the Tan-O to visit Nina, it was just that he had more pressing things on his mind or he’d have snatched her then. Maxie may also consider whether it is best to cut all ties, considering the things that have taken place because of Nina’s poor judgment!
