General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) has a PI case where she’s looking for the estranged daughter of a millionaire! A recent General Hospital episode showed Sam discussing the case, could the estranged daughter be Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl)?
General Hospital Spoilers And Rumors – Sam McCall Talked About A PI Case With Her Mother And Sisters
General Hospital viewers will recall from a recent episode of General Hospital that Sam was working on a PI (private investigation) case and had her mother Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) working on with her. She’d asked if Alexis might want to help her in her PI business, since Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was no longer in the business. They were working on a missing persons case, although Sam referred to it as more like an estrangement than someone gone missing.
The father’s name was Todd Worth (uncast character) who is the Chief Financial Officer of a company called D & E Shipping Partners. Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) recognized the company, noting they had a terrible record regarding the environment, being responsible for a bad oil spill in the Arctic. Sam had reminded both Alexis and Molly the client was Todd as an individual, not anything to do with the company. Alexis worried that the “daughter” was really a whistleblower who might have reported the company for the oil spill, while Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) noted her opinion, which was that Alexis being a PI was a disaster waiting to happen!
General Hospital Spoilers And Rumors – Esme Is Adopted – Could Todd Be Her Adoptive Father?
General Hospital viewers will recall that even though Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is suspected by many General Hospital viewers to be the biological daughter of Ryan Chamberlain, (Jon Lindstrom) she is also adopted. She noted that she didn’t get along with her adoptive parents, plus her trust fund had been cut off, or so she said, when her boyfriend Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and she were kicked out of the Metro Court for his credit card being declined. General Hospital viewers will recall that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) had cancelled it in an effort to reign in his errant son!
Esme’s not getting along with her adoptive parents and her trust fund getting cut off – if she wasn’t lying – could support the idea that Todd Worth could be her adoptive father! It all fits – a millionaire adoptive father looking for a daughter who is estranged, and he and his wife cut her trust fund off because they don’t know if she’s dead or alive!
General Hospital Spoilers And Rumors – Esme And Spencer Are Staying With Kevin Collins, And Spencer’s Working Like A Townie At Kelly’s
General Hospital viewers will recall that once Spencer’s funds were cut off, he and Esme had to move in with Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom), with Spencer working like a townie at Kelly’s! Of course, Spencer’s getting a real job was a requirement of Kevin’s in exchange for him staying there, but chances are Esme’s been riding on Spencer’s financial coattails since showing up in Port Charles. It seems to fit that at the point Esme left the boarding school in France and showed up in Port Charles, would be the same point at which Todd Worth lost track of his daughter. Esme wouldn’t be able to continue to pay for school abroad but Spencer still had money.
Esme may have still had her trust fund when she came from France, but if she had disappeared from the school and her adoptive parents knew that, they wouldn’t want someone else charging on her credit card! General Hospital viewers know that may have been a bad move, but maybe they didn’t realize that credit card transactions can be tracked and used as a bread crumb trail to her movements like Sam would! Not to mention if they don’t know where she is, wouldn’t they care if she needed her trust fund to survive? No wonder Esme didn’t get along with them!
