General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Parry Shen debuted as Brad Cooper in May 2013. Now Brad has secured his parole thanks to his Aunt, Selina Wu (Lydia Look) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). What does this mean for his time in Port Charles?
General Hospital Spoilers – Connection To The Wu Family
General Hospital’s Brad confessed years ago that his family was a part of the mob. Lucas Jones (ex-Matt Trudeau) didn’t have a big issue with that because his sister Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is married to the head of the Corinthos organization. Brad’s family has never been involved in his life until this point but that seems to have changed now that his aunt has taken him under her wing. Brad’s family has been around since 1985, they have just never been explored since the Asian Quarter storyline. Parry was thrilled when Brad’s aunt was introduced into a storyline that he felt was abandoned when Ron Carlivati left the show years ago. However, the current writers have decided to expand on the storyline which thrills Shen.
General Hospital Updates – Parry Shen’s Sporadic Appearances
General Hospital’s Brad went to prison in March 2020 for his part in the baby switch between Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) son that he had adopted with Lucas, and Wiley Corinthos (Kaleb and Kyler Ends), Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) son with Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). Of course, Brad was distraught at the time, but he knew what he did was wrong. Shen admits that he wasn’t expecting to be brought back to Port Charles so this was a nice surprise on his part. Shen said he had been busy so he didn’t miss being on the set very much. However, when he would start wondering what was going on he would get a call to do a cameo appearance. Now Brad is home with his BFF, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) but his aunt wants their connection ended. What does Selina have against Brad’s friendship with Britt?
Brad Cooper Is Back In Town
General Hospital’s Brad seems to be an important on-screen presence now that he is out of prison. After all, Brad just sent Peter August (Wes Ramsey) to the hospital by poisoning him. Shen believes that absence makes the heart grow fonder but that is not necessarily the case with his character. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has already warned him away from Wiley once again. Shen admits that he trolls his social media accounts to gauge fans’ reactions and he is thrilled that things have turned around. Shen’s character used to be one of the most hated guys on the show.
Now that Brad is back in town, will he take an active role in his mob family’s story? What is next for Brad Cooper?
