General Hospital Spoilers: Cody Asks Scott for Guidance, But on What?
General Hospital spoilers tease, when Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) first came to Port Charles, he wasn’t happy to see Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) — the last man to care for his mother. He had assumed Scott gave his mother’s estate away, and Cody came to town intent to take back what is rightfully his. To start, he socked Scott in the face, and the two haven’t been kosher ever since. When Cody comes calling in need of some sage advice, will Scott turn him away?
General Hospital Spoilers — Britt Tried to Smooth Things Over
Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) has reluctantly taken an interest in Cody more than she would like to admit. So it only makes sense that she would want her mom, Liel Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) to embrace Cody’s presence in her life. After all, Liesl is the one who pushed the Society Setups membership onto Britt and wanted her to find love again even when she wasn’t ready for it. But Liesl hasn’t budged. She doesn’t like Cody, and neither does Scott. How will that work in Cody’s favor when he hopes to glean some guidance from Scott about his current estate predicament?
GH Spoilers Tease Cody Doesn’t Know What to Do
Cody may have had intentions for pursuing his mother’s estate when he first got to town, but he couldn’t put them on display the way he had hoped when there was no estate to be had. It certainly would’ve been more convenient for the necklace Leopold Taub (Chip Lucia) gave Dominique Baldwin (Shell Danielson) to have been left in a trust or even Scott’s personal safe. Knowing the necklace was not among his mother’s effects means it had to have been among Leopold’s. Thus, Cody would have to dodge his potential birth father, Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and pretend Leopold is his father to have any shot at grabbing ownership of the multi-million dollar jewels.
General Hospital Spoilers — Does Scott Have the Answer?
When Cody comes to Scott for answers about how to manage the necklace that is currently in Britt’s possession, Scott won’t know what to make of it. He will be suspicious from the get-go, because let’s be honest, Scott always is. However, he’s going to be concerned that Britt might not know Cody has an interest in claiming his alleged birthright. Does she?
Britt seemed more than willing to turn the necklace over to Cody before, but Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is still investigating the details and Britt wants to make sure it’s all managed in a legal way, if the necklace is even hers. Is it possible ownership was legally transferred and the necklace no longer belonged to Leopold at the time of his death — making Cody’s fictitious father scheme a waste of time?
