General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) have been in each other’s orbit for some time now. In fact, Austin delivered Maxie’s baby in the woods late one night. From there it has been one huge deception, but Austin finally put two and two together today. What does this mean for a romance between these two going forward?

Austin is a Quartermaine and he came to town to claim his birthright. That was easier said than done. He had heard plenty about the wily Q’s but he wasn’t quite prepared for the depths to which they were prepared to sink in order to shut him out. Truthfully, not much more has been revealed about Austin since his arrival. He has been chem tested with several ladies, none of which caused a bonfire to erupt on social media. If fans have a favorite PC lady they want Austin to hook up with, they are playing it close to the vest.
General Hospital Updates – Maxie Jones Will Need A Shoulder To Cry On
Maxie had a vested interest in keeping Austin out of her life, even as he seemed willing to be in it. Her friends even pointed out that he appeared interested, but Maxie was firm that she wanted nothing to do with the newcomer. Things took a sudden change this week when Maxie kissed him out of the blue. But alas, it was only a ploy to get him distracted from the truth. Or was it?
What Happens Next In Port Charles?
The kiss happened when they were out in the woods trying to figure out what really happened the night she gave birth and a nurse stole her baby. Maxie gave birth that much is true, but the baby has been hidden in plain sight all along by Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
It was to keep her safe from her evil dad Peter August (Wes Ramsey). But as the days went on so did the number of people who figured out the truth—including Austin. Today he and Maxie confronted the truth and their kiss. Will this couple fall by the wayside and just be friends, or do you want them to be a serious pair?
