Another is the possibility that Maurice Benard, who plays Sonny Corinthos, could either retire – he’s hinted at it many times – or the storyline has Sonny making up his mind between Carly and Nina Reeves, (Cynthia Watros), and choosing Nina! Carly’s ex-husband Jasper “Jax” Jacks, who was played by Ingo Rademacher has officially been let go from the show so these pessimistic viewers are thinking who’s left for Carly? Jason’s gone, Jax is gone, Sonny might be gone, and although there is a very slight possibility they could do a Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) coupling, it’s doubtful; so they look at the real life couple of Laura Wright and Wes Ramsey and assume there will be a Carly and Peter coupling!

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that the fans who want a “Parly” pairing are in the vast minority when taken in context of the many more who are tired of the villain and want him gone for good! There are certain villains that can pull off being a villain that viewers love to hate – but most don’t think Wes as Peter is one of them. It may not be his fault – General Hospital viewers have to admit that the writers have written Peter into a corner and there can be no redemption.

Perhaps if he could pull out of his bag of acting tricks that of a lost soul that could garner sympathy, similar to the way Peter was first written, there could be some hope for the character. One eventuality that would make a “Parly” coupling totally unrealistic even if one suspended disbelief, is if Peter kills Jason or causes him to be killed and Carly would couple up with Peter!

General Hospital Spoilers And Rumors – Peter August Is Best Taken In Small Doses

General Hospital viewers will agree that the character of Peter August is best taken in small doses, if at all. The majority expressed disappointment and some even expressed anger that he didn’t die at the bottom of that staircase! The fact that he murdered one of the few General Hospital villains who was successfully redeemed in most viewers’ eyes, namely Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) has upset many.

There of course are those who are always cynical and don’t believe Franco was really redeemed either, but storyline evidence appeared to prove the contrary. Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is another character who started out villainous, but has become a mixed character – like Sonny, a villain with a heart of gold. In fairness to the actor, Peter hasn’t been given the chance to become a fully developed likable villain and has been written to be purely evil – and most viewers just want him permanently gone! Even those who root for the underdog have a difficult time rooting for Peter!
