General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Ava Jerome (Maura West) is playing with fire by not telling Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) that his meds have been tampered with.
Is she working with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) or someone else from Pikeman to bring the mob boss down? Either way, she’s about to get burned and may lose the only child she has left, in the aftermath of this all.
GH Spoilers: Ava Jerome Continues To Mourn The Death Of Her Eldest Daughter
GH spoilers hint that Ava is fiercely protective of Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola), as most moms are when it comes to their children. However, it’s hard to ignore the elephant in the room and something that has been mentioned multiple times as of late: Avery is her only child right now.
Ava continues to mourn the loss of Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) and struggles with this trauma, daily. While Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) was the one who killed Kikki, Ava still harbors guilt over her death considering the relationship she had with the murderer at the time of her daughter’s passing.
GH Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos Needs To Be 100%
Sonny is not functioning well without his meds. Considering what happened to Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) it’s shocking that Ava hasn’t shared what she knows about the meds with the mob boss yet.
Fans can see from a mile away that something dire is on the horizon and in most situations, it’s the most vulnerable that are victims in schemes such as Ava’s.
As Sonny isn’t himself, he can’t protect his family as well as he would be able to if he was “sharp”. Could he accidentally shoot Avery because he’s “not himself”? Could a situation arise where Sonny failed to protect Avery because of the lack of meds issue?
Ava may not care that Sonny is struggling right now; she may not even care if he dies or puts himself in danger; however, what she’s failing to realize is that his tampered meds don’t only affect his emotions, but they affect his abilities to properly function, thus also being able to properly protect those closest to him.

I sure the writers are not that cold hearted to put a child in front of anyone’s bullet. Come why not shoot Ava she deserves it
They need to do an intervention for Sunny. He needs to realize that he’s not himself right now. Hopefully someone finds out that his medication‘s being tampered with this could be another Morgan corinthos storyline all over again.
I don’t like the way any of this is going . Just very convoluted and strange behavior from the people that have been there so long. No doubt Ava has an agenda (surprise!) but she is smart enough to know that she will be blamed for the medication switch. And she also needs to remember what it did to Morgan. All of these people should be coming together to help Sonny and for sure take down John Cates !
First off, I hate harming children…period! But, Avery may find Sonny’s meds and take one. Young children sometimes do that and usually, there are consequences. I’m sure it will cause problems and doctors won’t know what it is. Ava won’t know either for a while until she remembers or someone tests Sonny’s meds for tampering.
At this point, I find it difficult to have any sympathy for Ava. I don’t know at what time she decided what the prize was. I guess with her eye on taking over Sonny’s territory was just too tempting. In the beginning, Ava wanted to be as far away from the mob life as she could be. The thrill was just too tempting. She didn’t want any part of her family’s legacy because they were just too dangerous. She has no thoughts of what will affect Avery. Again, selfish and self-centered. Has she ever put the needs of others before her wants?
I really don’t think Avery will be involved in anything bad happening to her!! Why isn’t Ava realizing that if she gets caught knowing Sonny’s drugs have been tampered with and she doesn’t tell anyone that she could lose Avery!! Guess who will take her away from her ” Carly”, hopefully Nina finds out that Valentin is in with Pikeman and the fake drugs of Sonny’s were from him!! Also she’ll figure out that Ava knew, and she just might be the one who save’s Sonny!! Then piece by piece Carly & Nina will know that Ava knew all along and didn’t tell anyone!! Geez I’m all over my posting, but hopefully you’ll understand where I’m going with this!! Whoops what about Nicholas calling someone and telling them about how Ava knows all about the Fake Pills that’s another way she’ll get caught!! Sorry Fans, but I’m So Sick of this Sonny thing something has to happen, there are better storylines out there than dragging this on & on!!
