General Hospital Spoilers: A Grief-Stricken Brando Becomes Sonny’s New Enforcer!
General Hospital spoilers tease that a grief-stricken Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) may become Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) new enforcer after the death of his and Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) newborn, Liam Mike Corbin (uncredited infant) in upcoming episodes of General Hospital!
General Hospital Spoilers – Sasha And A Baby Changed Brando’s Mind About The Mob Life
General Hospital viewers will recall that when Brando first came to Port Charles, he didn’t have a problem helping out Sonny with family “business” although it was certainly not in the role of an enforcer, or hit man. What Brando did do is infiltrate Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) organization, and report back to Sonny and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). That is how Brando met Sasha – he was working as Renault’s driver, and Sasha had been hooked on drugs supplied by Renault, she overdosed and instead of leaving her somewhere on the docks to die, as Renault had told him to, he rushed her to General Hospital, where she had been found to have had a heart attack induced by the drug overdose!
Eventually, Renault got onto what Brando was doing as his mother Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) was canoodling with the mobster, thinking she had a sweet deal when he was keeping her in the lifestyle she wanted to be accustomed to for her giving damning testimony against Jason for the murder of Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth)! However, that all went backwards when both Brando and his mother were held hostage and Gladys was shot by a desperate Renault. Later, when he and Sasha started dating and she became pregnant, Brando was through with the mob although his mother didn’t learn her lesson!
General Hospital Spoilers – Brando Driven To Desperation And Despair, Changes Mind About The Mob
General Hospital viewers will recall that Gladys has always wanted Brando in the mob, because mobsters make a lot of money and she doesn’t want to give up her glamorous and expensive lifestyle. But Brando’s mind could change about working in the mob and taking the presumed-dead Jason’s place as Sonny’s enforcer – after Brando is driven to desperation and despair! The stress of having to make the painful decision to take their newborn off life support because little Liam Mike has no brain activity could be the straw that breaks the camel’s back, the “camel” being Brando and Sasha’s relationship.
Alternatively, their grief could always bind them together more strongly, but Sasha will be just as devastated as Brando will, since she’s already blaming herself for his condition even though there is nothing she could have done to prevent her placental abruption. If Sasha and Brando both become depressed enough and the sight of each other only brings pain because of the reminders of their lost child, they could decide to break up. General Hospital viewers can see this could easily happen and being pushed away by Sasha may push Brando back towards the mob! He’ll have plenty of anger to take out against Sonny’s enemies!
General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Will Need An Enforcer If He Chooses To Stay In The Mob
Although there is a slight possibility that Sonny may walk away from “the business” it is doubtful that this would happen right away. General Hospital viewers know that Sonny will need an enforcer if he stays in the mob, and he would again turn to Brando because he’s got skills that could work. This time, Brando may take him up on the offer, because he’ll be so devastated by Liam’s death and Sasha’s rejection that he will feel like he has nothing left to lose!
Sonny will also need someone to run the coffee warehouse, because Jason did that also so even if Sonny were to try and back away from mob life, he’d still have a place for Brando in his coffee business if he wanted, even though he has the garage that once had been Jason’s. Longtime General Hospital viewers will recall Jason being full of anger when he first started working for Sonny as well, so much so that it earned him the nickname of “Anger Boy” from Marcus Taggert (Reál Andrews)! Brando could easily become a skilled enforcer like Jason with the right motivation!
