General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates reveal Gia Campbell (Marisa Ramirez) has not been in Port Charles for years. She is the sister to Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) and daughter of Florence Campbell (Lynn Moody). She is the aunt of Trina Robinson (Sidney Makayla). Gia was the friend of Elizabeth Webber Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson), and Emily Bowen-Quartermaine (Natalia Livingston).

They were a close group of friends. She was engaged at one time to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). She left Port Charles to become a lawyer. Recently Trina and her mother Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) thought that Taggert had been killed. Gia joined them when they left Port Charles to put Taggert to rest out of town.

Gia could come to help Taggert. Currently Taggert is estranged from Trina and Portia. They are upset with him because he faked his death. Taggert had been a target of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Cyrus had Trina and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) kidnapped. Taggert had gone to save Trina and Cameron from Cyrus but had gotten hurt.

He decided that he had to protect Trina and Portia by making them believe that he was dead. Trina and Portia are glad that Taggert is alive but they are both upset with the fact that he faked his death. Gia could come to help her brother to repair his relationship with his daughter. Gia is a lawyer now so she could help him with any legal problems he might have. Gia could form a relationship with Trina. She might be able to help her family to get close again.

General Hospital Spoilers: Gia and Nikolas

Gia and Nikolas had been a couple. They were going to get married but ended the engagement. Currently Nikolas is married to Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West). They have a complex relationship. Nikolas and Ava are facing an unknown threat. Gia could help Nikolas to find out who is going after him and Ava. Nikolas and his son Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) have had some issues. Spencer thought that Nikolas was dead for years.

It upset Spencer that Nikolas had not let him know that he was alive. They are still trying to get close again. Spencer has had an issue with Nikolas being married to Ava. He does not think that Ava is a good match for Nikolas. Gia could come back to help Nikolas to reform his bond with his son.

Gia could help Cameron as well. Cameron is the son of Liz and Zander Smith (Chad Brannon). Gia was friends with Zander and could help Cameron to deal with the loss of his step father.
