General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: The Novaks Retaliate – Carly Corinthos Is Kidnapped!
General Hospital spoilers tease that once Joey Novak (Patrick Zeller) has recovered from his beat down, likely at the hands of someone associated with Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett), the Novaks may retaliate for the death of Vincent Novak (Glenn Taranto) and other offenses in future episodes of General Hospital!
General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Demanded The Novak’s Territory From Joey Novak
General Hospital viewers will remember that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) paid Joey a little visit in his room at General Hospital. Sonny didn’t put him in the hospital but he definitely reminded Joey he could finish what his attacker started, and made him an offer he couldn’t refuse! Sonny wanted all of the Novak family’s territory in exchange for Joey’s life!
Joey isn’t the only remaining living Novak, and he told Sonny that his family wouldn’t like that! Sonny informed him that wasn’t his problem – but if the remaining Novaks decide to retaliate, say in the form of kidnapping Carly Corinthos, (Laura Wright) that will definitely be Sonny’s problem! Joey may put himself up as the new head of the Novaks, but there is more than likely someone much better qualified than Joey – Vincent was his uncle, so perhaps the new head might be Joey’s father! More than likely, the remaining Novaks know that Joey isn’t the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree! This retaliation will be carried out by someone other than Joey!
General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Is Once Again Without An Enforcer
General Hospital viewers know that with the presumed death of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) in Greece, Sonny once again will be without an enforcer. It is doubtful that Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) will step up, so soon after being released from Pentonville Prison . He won’t want to get his hands dirty although he would defend Sonny and Carly as a bodyguard in a heartbeat. The same holds true for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Defending someone or protecting someone is one thing, but being a mob enforcer is quite another!
This would be the prime time for the Novaks to retaliate, if that is their intention! Sonny divided up the Novak’s old territory with Nina Wu (Lydia Look) to thank her for saving Jason and Carly’s lives after their wedding, which is how Vincent Novak, along with Charles Buscema (Bart Tangredi) wound up dead. The bomb that was strapped to the bottom of the limo Jason and Carly were going to be in was warned of by Ms. Wu, and the limos were switched so Novak and Buscema blew up. The Novaks could seek vengeance on the Wu family as well because of this!
General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Corinthos Told Curtis Ashford The Mob Danger Was Over
General Hospital viewers will recall that in previous General Hospital episodes, Carly had told a concerned Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) that the mob danger was over after Sonny told her he had handled the Joey Novak situation. Joey had targeted and inappropriately flirted with Carly twice, and that means Carly is the Novak family’s target.
Plus, Carly has had a difficult time letting go of the power she enjoyed as the head of the Corinthos crime family prior to her and Jason’s marriage after Jason had returned to Port Charles after being on the run in Canada with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud)! General Hospital viewers know that of course, it could always be the Novaks’ plan to assassinate Carly but a kidnapping might get more action out of Sonny- they could demand their territory be returned as a ransom!
