General Hospital News: Kimberly McCullough And Finola Hughes Together Again
General Hospital updates and spoilers reveal that fan faves Kimberly McCullough and Finola Hughes have reunited. Finola Hughes is a soap opera legend, and has been playing the part of Anna Devane on General Hospital for decades, and McCullough’s character Robin Scorpio-Drake is also Port Charles royalty.
Sadly, Kimberly McCullough and Finola Hughes’ reunion did not take place on the General Hospital set, and there is no indication that Robin will be back in Port Charles any time soon.
McCullough and Hughes reunited at the The Directors Guild of America (DGA) Awards, and Kimberly shared a sweet snap shot of herself and her co-star on Instagram. The actress turned director captioned the iconic picture, “Mother and daughter reunite at the DGA awards.“
General Hospital Star Kimberly McCullough’s New Career
In 2016 Kimberly McCullough made a splash in the directorial world when she directed two episodes of the wildly popular ABC Family series Pretty Little Liars. Since then she has worked on several hit television shows like All About The Washingtons, Fuller House, Roswell: New Mexico, One Day At A Time, The Conners, The Bold Type, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, and many more.
What a lot of General Hospital fans do not realize is that McCullough’s on screen mother Finola Hughes also dabbles in directing. In 2020 an episode of Good Trouble aired on Freeform (formerly ABC Family) titled “Daylight” and it was directed by the ABC soap opera star.
Will Kimberly McCullough Return To General Hospital
It has been almost two years since Robin Scorpio-Drake was spotted in Port Charles, although there are always rumors of Kimberly McCullough returning and her character’s name does come up frequently in current storylines. However, General Hospital spoilers indicate that Anna DeVane is not going anywhere any time soon and Finola Hughes has some pretty exciting scenes coming up with her co-star James Patrick Stuart (Valentin Cassadine).
