General Hospital spoilers reveal Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) is going to go the extra mile for Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), as usual. Elizabeth has just trampled all over his heart, dashed all hopes of their future together, and fed Finn a barrage of lies that devastated him just so she could prioritize protecting her beloved friend, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). At some point, Elizabeth decided Nikolas was more important to her than Finn was. Yet Finn is going to set his feelings aside and listen to Elizabeth drone on about what she is going through. Enough is enough, am I right? GH fans seem to overwhelmingly agree, with 84% telling Soap Opera Digest they’re ready to see Finn and Elizabeth move on — without each other.
General Hospital Spoilers — Elizabeth Baldwin Was Once in Hamilton Finn’s Corner
It seems like Elizabeth might just love drama and gravitates toward it, finding a home there. She wasn’t involved with Finn when she jumped on board to help him cover up the presumed death of Peter August (Wes Ramsey) as he lay unconscious in a hospital stairwell. Their relationship blossomed as it was built on a trauma bond, a shared secret of criminal wrongdoing. Elizabeth and Finn could have shared something special, but she never did open up to him the way she should have in a real relationship with reciprocating trust, which doesn’t make much sense since she trusted him enough to cover up a murder for him and help him bury the evidence.
General Hospital Updates – Now She’s In Nikolas Cassadine’
Now, Elizabeth has found herself once again fighting for a man who hasn’t earned her affection or loyalty. She can boast about her longtime friendship with Nikolas until the cows come home, but what has he really done for her besides risking the welfare of her children just so he could try to control the outcome for one of his? Nikolas emotionally blackmailed Elizabeth into keeping his secret and helping him care for his unborn child. She hasn’t just assisted in harboring a fugitive, but she’s kept a criminal safe who harmed her own child instead of seeking persecution of them, and she’s practicing medicine without a license. We all know Elizabeth isn’t going to pay for her crimes. Somehow, her boys will keep their mom, and she will keep her job as a nurse, but will she keep Nik as her friend and Finn as her other half?
Who Is In Hers?
Nikolas is going to be rather focused on his own affairs, pun intended. His affair with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) led to a pregnancy, and in just a few short months, Nikolas is going to be a father again. However, his crimes may land him behind bars before the baby is ever born — ironic, given that his whole intention was to keep the mother of his child out of jail. We all know Nikolas well enough to know he won’t be going to jail if he has anything to say about it. Could Marcus Coloma’s big exit be a simultaneous exit strategy for Nikolas as he flees Port Charles, a fugitive himself? That certainly won’t keep him in Liz’s orbit, and it’ll leave room for Finn to circle back around. Does he even want Liz anymore after all she’s done?
