General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Carly Catches On To Michael’s Plan To Destroy Sonny
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has been out of sight and out of mind in Port Charles — and vice versa. What’s happening back home hasn’t really been on her radar since her long-term detour to Florida took her back in time to do some serious soul work. But she’s heading back to New York now, and she’s going to be floored by what she finds waiting for her at home.
General Hospital Spoilers — Carly Corinthos Gets Caught Up
Carly has been away from her children for weeks. She’s going to want to spend some time getting back in touch with them and immersing herself in their lives. That’s when she will come to realize Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) have a recent friend in common — Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).
On its face, it’s going to be rather transparent to Carly what Joss’ interest is in Dex. A mother always knows when her daughter is swooning over someone. Still, never before has Joss made friends with one of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) employees. Likewise, Michael has never taken much of an interest in Sonny’s hires either. So she’ll be asking herself why both of her children are all wrapped up in Dex and what happens to him.
General Hospital Updates – Michael Corinthos And Joss Jacks Give Her Pause
As Carly starts to put the pieces together and realizes Joss — despite being coupled up with Cameron Webber (William Lipton) — is into Dex, she may have some words of advice for her young daughter. Joss won’t be receptive to warnings from Carly, who has repeatedly been romantically involved with mob men. However, Carly’s been known to be a hypocrite a time or two (we love you, Laura).
More than anything, Carly is going to want to make sure Joss knows what she’s doing, and she might push her to consider Cam’s feelings, too. Joss will be annoyed by any reference to him because she’s still mentally trying to compartmentalize Cam and Dex far away from each other.
Carly will also speak with Michael about his interest in Dex, but it’s not going to be as crystal clear as his involvement with him is. Michael won’t want to burden his mother with his plans to take Sonny down, but Carly is going to pick up on the strong resentment Michael is holding against Sonny enough to recognize Dex somehow ties Michael to him.
Carly Corinthos Figures Out What Joss Jacks Couldn’t
Carly may take the opportunity to play these siblings against one another. Asking Joss what Michael’s interest in Dex is could pique Joss’ curiosity enough to help her mother figure it out. That said, Joss probably won’t realize what’s going on as quickly as Carly does, because as a mother, she’s been very attuned to Michael’s anger against Sonny. Will Carly intervene and warn Michael not to play with this fire? Will she alert Sonny to what’s going on? Or will she once again find herself the bearer of a secret she didn’t ask for? So tired of the Michael resentment. Michael has known about Sonny’s business and how it operates even though Sonny did not want Michael to become involved in it. Sure he could and should be upset about Sonny’s actions since returning from NF, but enough time has passed that it should just be accepted even if not liked. If Michael continues his path it bound to cause problems for him and those he cares for. Glad Carly has gotten back to PC to figure this mess out, and hopefully bring this story line to end.
