General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) wants to be accepted into the Quartermaine family. Austin is the son of the late Jimmy Lee Holt (Steve Bond). Jimmy Lee was the illegitimate son of the late Edward Quartermaine (John Ingle). Edward did not want Jimmy Lee to be part of his family or his family business ELQ.

Edward made it where Jimmy Lee could not have shares in ELQ or inherit anything else related to the Quartermaine family. Austin has gotten Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) to represent him in trying to get to have shares in ELQ. Austin wants to be considered a part of the Quartermaine family and feels that having a part of ELQ would make him part of the family.

General Hospital Spoilers: Austin Helps Harrison Chase

Austin may find a way to get support from different Quartermaine family members. Austin can see that many in the Quartermaine family are concerned about Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). Chase is recovering from being accidently poisoned by Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Chase is in therapy to regain the ability to walk. Chase is married to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and wants to be able to walke for her. Willow wants Chase to recover but is secretly in love with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).

General Hospital Spoilers: Austin Helps Michael Corinthos

Austin may find out that Michael wants to be with Willow. Michael is Edward’s great grandson. Michael has been the Chief Executive Officer of ELQ before. Michael has influence with the rest of the Quartermaine family especially in regards to ELQ. Austin may help Michael by trying to find out if Chase could be interested in someone other than Willow. Chase loves Willow but he has a strong connection to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).

Austin may find out that Brook Lynn has an interest in Chase. Brook Lynn has regarded Chase as her good friend but she was devastated when she thought that he might die. Brook Lynn knows that Michael and Willow want to be together. She wants Chase to be happy and knows that he wants to be with Willow. Chase is staying with the Quartermaine family while he recovers.

Brook Lynn is trying to deal with keeping the secret that she is raising Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) as her daughter Bailey Lois Quartermaine. Brook Lynn has been concerned that Austin might recognize Louise because he helped Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) to deliver her. However, Austin has not made the connection that Bailey is Louise. Austin may find out but may want to help Brook Lynn. He may find out that Brook Lynn would like to be more than a friend to Chase.
