General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Ava And Austin Have A Disastrous First Date!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) has not been subtle about the fact that she finds the new doctor in town, Dr. Austin Holt (Roger Howarth) quite interesting. Of course, Ava may be making a big show of her interest just to prove to her husband, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) that she intends to not only get a divorce but to move on as quickly as possible. Ava is still in love with Nikolas of course, but because a deranged stalker has made it his/her mission to separate the Cassadine couple, Ava feels that she has to comply with the Stalker’s wishes to keep her family safe.

General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Jerome Might Want To Prove To The Stalker That She Is Over Nikolas Cassadine!

So it seems quite likely that Ava will encourage Austin’s advances and would likely agree to a date. Besides the fact that it will hopefully satisfy the stalker, Ava may be very interested in Austin’s connection to the Quartermaine family. Austin has recently revealed to the family that he is the son of the late Jimmy Lee Holt (Steve Bond) who was the illegitimate child of Edward Quartermaine (the late John Ingle).

Wanting whatever piece of the Quartermaine estate he is entitled to, Austin has hired Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) to be his attorney. Scott has made it clear that he is going to contest Edward’s will. This will all be fascinating to Ava, and she may even be thinking that since she is losing out on the Cassadine fortune, that getting involved with a Quartermaine might be a good option for her financial future.

General Hospital Updates – Nikolas Cassadine Will Get Help From Trina Robinson!

Nikolas will want Ava’s date to fail miserably and he will likely find an ally in Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla). Between the two of them, perhaps they will find a way to scare Austin off. Maybe they could send Scott to interrupt their outing and revealing some of Ava’s colorful history. Or maybe they could enlist Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) to befriend Austin. Lucy would have no trouble talking about some of Ava’s darker moments, such as killing Connie Falconeri (Megan Ward). Ava is no longer the criminal she once was, but she also won’t want to defend herself so quickly. With just a little help, Nikolas and Trina could likely make sure that Austin and Ava lose interest in one another quickly!
