GH spoilers note there’s been no official word from the soap about a leading lady exit; however, this also happens to be Sweeps month where anything unexpected could come down the pipe.
Casey from The Chat (@_Casey1999) recently posted a tweet on X stating, “Expect a very very popular and beloved actress to possibly be out this year. I’d be shocked if the original path doesn’t go to plan.”
When another user pushed for more information on the tweet, Casey hinted that Patrick Mulcahey, the GH writer who recently departed from the show, was “saving jobs of people we actually want to see.”
While nothing has been confirmed, Casey has been known in the past to drop interesting insider information.
GH Spoilers: Who Could Be On The Chopping Block?
Of course, X users were commented on the tweet, speculating on which actress Casey was referring to. Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth Baldwin), Cynthia Watros (Nina Reeves), Tabyana Ali (Trina Robinson), and Maura West (Ava Jerome) were some of the popular leading ladies who were mentioned, for a number of reasons.
While Nina is wrapped up in an interesting storyline with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and getting closer to her bio daughter Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) again, Ava is playing with fire when it comes to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) it wouldn’t be overly shocking if she were to exit in a fatal fashion.
Liz isn’t involved in any stories right now, other than being Dr. Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) girlfriend, and now that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is gone, Trina hasn’t seen much screen time either.
Regardless, the tweet could just be speculation, or fans may need to gear up to say goodbye to a fan favorite. Either way, only time will tell.
