General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: 4 Reasons Why Peter August Needs To Be Recast
General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that if there’s anything that General Hospital fans can agree on, it’s that a fictional city like Port Charles can’t run unless there’s at least one resident villain causing havoc on its streets, right? Well, now that it’s been confirmed that Wes Ramsey is leaving the show, a lot of people can’t help but wonder what will happen to his character, Peter August. While there’s speculation that he might come back, soap fans know that no one is really gone forever, even if that last nail is hammered into his or her coffin. With that said, here are four reasons why Peter August needs to be recast.
General Hospital Spoilers – There’s No Way He Can Really Be Dead
A successful villain is one that appears over and over again, even if he’s just lurking in the shadows. If Peter is really dead, then that leaves a lot of stories unfinished.
General Hospital Updates – Will His Body Be Found?
A lot of General Hospital fans believe that it might only be a matter of time before Peter’s body will be found in the stairwell. It’s been a few days already and by now someone would have had to use the stairs already?
General Hospital Spoilers – What About Maxie And Their Baby?
It’s certainly been an interesting ride between Peter and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), who was only beginning to learn how to trust him before she learned the real truth about his past. Even though Maxie warned Peter to stay away from her and their baby, there was no way that he was going to leave them behind. This, of course, set off a fury of events. Peter now has a child in this world and you know that sooner or later he’s going to come back and claim what he believes is rightfully his.
General Hospital Updates – A Familiar Face Can Fill The Role
Since Wes Ramsey is no longer available for the role, that means another familiar face can step in instead. How great (and maybe even odd) it would be to see Bryan Craig, who used to play Morgan Corinthos, come back to fill in for Wes’ shoes? Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come!

No! This was a disgusting character on so many levels. Fans do not want him back under any circumstances. No “good twin” or amnesia scenarios. Just no! Cut your losses. The character was cast with a sub-par actor with an atrocious storyline. Just move on already! No one wants his return.
Absolutely agree….NO NO NO!
TOTALLY AGREE! BYEEEEE?
Peter’s character was too evil to be recast! Now get rid of Tina and Cyrus…and bring Sonny home!
Cyrus is gone and who is Tina?
I couldn’t be HAPPIER that he’s Gone! He’s despicable and personally, I don’t care for the actor either! Sorry Laura!
He doesn’t need to be recast he doesn’t need to come back at all. Let the storyline die the un-natural death it took. Let Finn figure out it’s the DNA (which he will probably do today or tomorrow), and find the cure. Then we can tackle the fact that Willow is now married to a man she doesn’t love, and finally bring Sonny home and let Nina become (once again the pariah in PC, she made her bed now she will die in it (I hope so – so over her whining).

He even managed to escape a fire unscathed and redeem himself in Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) eyes. […]
