General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Asante Jones is returning to the daytime drama. The actor will reprise his role as Marcus Taggert, a role that’s also being played by Real Andrews. Both actors have been alternating in portraying the character since 2020.
Burton Lands Role in DOOL: Beyond Salem
Fans have been hoping to see Steve Burton return to General Hospital. However, it seems like he has no plans to return anytime soon. The actor landed a role in Days Of Our Lives: Beyond Salem as Harris Michaels.
The second installment of the soap’s spinoff is set to air on July 11 in Peacock. For those who didn’t know, Burton first played the role of Harris back in 1988. Fans will have to wait and see if the actor is headed to Salem and if he’ll be part of the sudser in a full-time capacity.
General Hospital: Olivia Talks To Carly
Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) meets with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) as they try to come up with a solution for her financial problems. The latter thinks that she’s only left with one option. But she doesn’t think that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will help her with her problem with Metro Court.
Sonny Corners Spencer
Elsewhere, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) demands answers from Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez). The latter may eventually face the consequences of his recent actions in the pool. He also needs to deal with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) as he declines to take part in the latter’s plan.
Cody Focuses On Britt
Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will spend some time talking to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). However, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will catch his attention. He’ll be pleased with their Society Setups match. But Britt, won’t be as excited about it.
There will be more bickering with Cody and Britt but the latter will continue to be intrigued by the former. Britt won’t admit that she’s interested but Cody will hope that he’s pulling her closer to him.
Later on, Britt will also be third-wheeling during Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) and Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) date. However, the pair’s date won’t go as planned due to some obstacles. One obstacle is Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), who’ll make his disapproval of Austin very clear to Britt.
