General Hospital Spoilers: Elizabeth Forbids Jake From Seeing Charlotte!
General Hospital spoilers tease that Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) has made it clear that she is furious with Anna DeVane (Finola Hughes) in the aftermath of Charlotte Cassadine’s (Scarlett Fernandez) shooting.
As of right now, all Elizabeth knows is that Anna shot Charlotte because she mistook her for the vandal that has been targeting Anna for months.
What Elizabeth doesn’t know just yet is that Charlotte is actually guilty of vandalizing Anna hotel room and the front door of her house before it was burned to the ground.
General Hospital Spoilers – Charlotte Cassadine did not burn down Anna Devane’s house!
Currently, Charlotte’s father, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) believes that Charlotte was also responsible for the fire. He knows that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) wrote Charlotte a letter warning her about how dangerous Anna is to Valentin.
He also sent her a deck of tarot cards which the Cassadine’s have used in the past to brainwash others. Drew Cain’s (Cameron Matheson) killer persona was activated by a specific card and phrase. It’s possible something similar has happened with Charlotte.
GH Spoilers – Elizabeth Webber will worry that Jake Webber could be hurt by Charlotte Cassadine!
Elizabeth isn’t really the type of mother who would normally tell her sons who they can and can’t date. She wasn’t that way with Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and until the shooting, she hasn’t said anything about Jake Webber’s (Hudson West) interest in Charlotte.
But Elizabeth knows that Jake was also once brainwashed by the Cassadines so she knows how dangerous Charlotte might still be. Once she discovers that Charlotte was manipulated by Victor, she may suggest Jake back off from Charlotte, at least until she can sort herself out.
General Hospital Spoilers – Jake Webber will think Charlotte Cassadine needs her now more than ever!
But Jake will likely push back on his mother, claiming that now is exactly the time he needs to be there for Charlotte. If he can help her in any way because he went through something similar, he will want to be involved. But Elizabeth may hold firm this time.
As viewers know, there was a time when Elizabeth was led to believe Jake had been killed when Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) hit him with his car.
It turned out that Jake was alive the whole time, but Elizabeth knows how it feels to lose Jake, she won’t likely let him anywhere near Charlotte until it’s certain she is no longer a danger to anyone!
