General Hospital Spoilers: These Floundering Would-Be Romances May Need to Pull the Plug
General Hospital Spoilers tease fans are getting bored of the constant push and pull between a few of their GH faves. We love a slow-burn storyline, but we were led to believe romance was in the works for a few would-be couples, yet here we are, still waiting for two of them to even take off while the other couple struggles to make up their mind about where they stand. Are these potential lovebirds ever going to take flight, or are they best put to bed at this stage in the withering, dried-up, game?
General Hospital Spoilers — Brook Lynn Quartermaine and Harrison Chase
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) might have been the cheesiest couple in town since Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) first hooked up, but that’s what we loved about them. Their saccharine sweet innocence was needed — especially in the Q mansion, where love isn’t just floating around on a daily basis.
Chase loosened Brook Lynn up; she thinks she’s edgy, but she’s also insecure. He helped her shed that, but she sabotaged the relationship. Since then, they’ve danced around working together in the wake of their death as a couple, but things still feel murky. Clearly, Brook Lynn wants another shot with Chase, but he’s been pretty clear that it isn’t going to happen. He’s not flirting with her; there are no signs of love left behind or regret on his part. So, why is this still a storyline?
GH Spoilers Hint Alexis Davis and Gregory Chase
Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) hasn’t had a love interest since Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan), and he was intentionally overdosed by Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) as he lay sleeping in Alexis’ bed. To say that trauma upended her life is an understatement. Now, she’s been hanging out and chewing the fat with Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison), despite having a fling in the past with his son, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).
It’s been roughly a year of intellectual debate laced with flirtation and sexual tension, but these two haven’t even made an attempt to be friends half the time, let alone lovers. What gives? Pick a lane already. Alexis deserves a life outside of the editing room.
General Hospital Spoilers — Diane Miller and Robert Scorpio
Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) has shown her interest in Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) for some time, but he never really seems to return her affection. For a moment, it looked like he was going to, but he was entirely too wrapped up in the re-emergence of his ex, Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), to notice that Diane was waiting for him to return her advances.
Feeling rejected and like she wasted her time, Diane withdrew her efforts. She’s not the type to wait around for a man to love her right.
