General Hospital Spoilers: Elizabeth Tells the Truth, and Cam Prepares to Leave Port Charles
General Hospital spoilers reveal Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) has confessed her crimes to the PCPD, and now she has to confess them to others — namely, her family. Elizabeth might be expecting that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will be stunned by Elizabeth’s confession, but the truth is, Laura knows how manipulative her son can be and she won’t hold it against Elizabeth for giving in, given how far their friendship goes back.
Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) might not be so keen on Elizabeth having helped Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) with holding Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) hostage, but he won’t be nearly as angry as Elizabeth’s own son, Cameron ‘Cam’ Webber (William Lipton).

Telling her sons the truth is the hardest thing Elizabeth will ever have to do. She has committed a crime, and although she has secured immunity for herself and won’t be abandoning them, her actions ran the very real risk that she could have been taken out of her sons’ lives. Cameron will find his mother to be unbelievably irresponsible, and he will struggle to entertain the idea of forgiving her as long as he’s blaming her for decimating his relationship with Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy).
Sure, it’s a stretch to think that Joss and Cam would have lasted had Elizabeth turned Esme in, but he knows he never got back in a good space with Joss because Esme was still on the loose making her feel rattled and self-conscious about being intimate with him.
GH Spoilers Hint Hamilton Finn Helps Her Pick Up the Pieces
Elizabeth will be devastated over having to tell her boys she broke the law and did something so awful to a young woman – a pregnant one, at that! Still, she did the right thing in coming forward, but Cameron might call into question why she told the PCPD the truth and whether it was just to clear her own conscience and free her from having to worry Nikolas or someone else would spill their guts. Liz might feel she is deserving of Cam’s hurtful words, but Finn will step in to try to help mend her broken heart in the wake of Cam trampling it.

Cam has had just about enough of this life in Port Charles. He loves his grandmother and brothers. He loves his mother, too, but he just can’t look at her the same way right now. Will Cam pack his things and go searching for Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) or greener grass somewhere else where there are no painful memories of lives lost, relationships ruined, and mothers who have betrayed him? Lipton’s exit from the show would come at the right time as he was just cast in a new television series.
