General Hospital Spoilers: Michael Calls Off His Takedown of Sonny — and Joss Reignites It

General Hospital Spoilers suggest Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is about to pull the plug on his covert working relationship with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), upon which he’ll expect Dex to promptly leave town, as was always the plan. Dex has bigger dreams on the horizon now though, and some of them include Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy). When Michael orders Dex to call the whole revenge game off, but Dex feels pressure to pull it off to remain in Port Chuck with Joss, he’s going to leave the decision up to his new girlfriend. This won’t bode well for anyone involved.

General Hospital Spoilers — Michael Isn’t Ready for a Relationship with Sonny

Michael may not want to see his father in ruins and thrown into a jail cell, but that doesn’t mean he wants to have a heart to heart with him or let him back into his life, either. Although Sonny has been showing his support of Michael and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) ever since he found out about her diagnosis, Michael still isn’t willing to reconsider keping a wall up between himself and his father. His grief may be clouding his judgment right now, too. However, Sonny does have a long track record of using and abusing the people he says he loves.

GH Spoilers Say He Doesn’t Want to Ruin Him, Either

Michael has been feeling conflicted about his revenge plan for some time now, but every time he tried to back out, Dex convinced him to hang in there a little bit longer and it would all be behind him. Now, Michael is regretting letting Dex get so close, and he’s not sure he can stop this train. When he tells Dex he doesn’t want to pursue a takedown against Sonny any longer, Dex just might tell him it’s too little, too late. The Pikeman Group shipment is scheduled to move through Sonny’s territory next week, and any change in plans now would only send up red flags to Sonny.

General Hospital Spoilers — But Joss Does

Now that Joss knows that Dex is working to take Sonny down, and she supports the effort, he knows he has another one of his kids in his corner when Michael bails out. In some ways, Michael leaving Dex to his own devices at the last moment will open him up to a better plan that couples him up with Joss in the takedown. However, does this mean he’ll need to clue Joss in to who hired him in the first place, and what will she think when she learns it was Michael?
