General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that sparks will fly between an unexpected couple this week on GH as Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) clash!
General Hospital Spoilers – A Contentious Encounter In The Park
Alexis and Gregory encounter each other in the park, and it’s not like they don’t know who each other is since Alexis once dated Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). Finn is still Alexis’ Alcoholics Anonymous sponsor and her go-to person to call if she’s tempted to go back to drinking, but things didn’t work romantically with them. Alexis knows Gregory is his and Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) father and they start arguing over “The Invader”!
Alexis enjoys their arguing in spite of herself, and thinks he’s an “arrogant ass” and likely calls him one, considering Alexis is generally outspoken and doesn’t hold back! They are both intellectual, but she is reactive whereas he doesn’t feel like he even has to raise his voice.
GH Spoilers – Dignified But Not Afraid To Take Digs
Alexis and Gregory both manage to be dignified in their clash and not draw attention to themselves – but even though they are dignified they’re not afraid to take little digs! They are the digs that come from having a sarcastically dry sense of humor, not from derision or ridicule, neither he nor she are wired that way.
They continue bantering back and forth and sparring over “The Invader” and some of the articles and issues Alexis has been publishing. Gregory wonders whose privacy has been invaded since the name does imply something being invaded, and Alexis detects the same sense of humor as in Finn. Finn’s sense of humor is practically undetectable by most people, because he is so serious when he tries to be funny.
General Hospital Spoilers – Alexis Davis Likes The Qualities She Sees In Gregory Chase
Alexis likes the qualities she sees in Gregory, some of the same she sees in Finn, others reminding her of Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan). It is an unusual person who can be sarcastic but yet not taking offense and she appreciates that in him. Gregory seems to like Alexis although he seems to be trying really hard not to show it – but their attraction seems to be sparking in spite of themselves!
Gregory and Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) have been on the rocks for a while, and they were talking divorce but it has not yet been revealed if the divorce is complete. For Gregory, that may be a boundary if it’s not and that may be why he’s trying not to connect too strongly to Alexis.
GH Spoilers – Another Point Of Awkwardness That Could Be A Boundary For Gregory Chase
Another point of awkwardness that could be a boundary for Gregory if this mutual attraction was to move forward is Alexis’ past romance with Finn. If his divorce has gone through the thing that caused a rift between him and Finn for so many years, with Finn initiating it was Finn having slept with Jackie. It is a totally different situation because Finn and Alexis were over almost as soon as they started, but it could inhibit things – or, maybe not! Perhaps the two will make a romantic connection in future GH episodes!
