General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that as Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) get closer, a wedding could be in their future on GH!
General Hospital Spoilers – Some Of Sonny Corinthos’ Family Has Locked Him Out
Some of Sonny’s family has locked him out, namely his adopted son Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Michael isn’t letting Sonny have visitation with Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) either, simply because he’s involved himself with Nina! That seems a little unfair; and Sonny isn’t getting very much time with Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) and Donna Corinthos (Arya and Ayla Dormiani) either.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has been very involved in keeping Nina away from Wiley, so she hasn’t really given co-parenting the littles with Sonny much thought recently at all. It’s understandable that Sonny would bond closer to Nina even though Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) hasn’t thrown him either under the bus or the roof of Pentonville – yet!
GH Spoilers – Nina Reeves Cares For Sonny Corinthos And Wants To Keep Him Straight
Nina thinks in Sonny’s best interests – she’d prefer to keep him straight, both with “the business” and with his meds! It was Nina who was after Sonny to get back on his lithium and also to keep off the booze so much when he was going through that rough time!
Nina prefers that Sonny keeps a little more Mike in him than the old mob boss Sonny, but she may not be able to control that. Sonny would probably just try to keep that part of his life from her and protect her from “the business” as he used to do Carly back in the day. But Carly’s made of a lot tougher stuff than Nina – although Nina can have her moments, like when she stabbed Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck) with her own syringe!
General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Will Be On Nina Reeves’ Side
GH spoilers tease that Sonny will side with Nina during her court battle for her legal grandmotherly rights regarding visitation of Wiley! That court date is rapidly approaching, even though Michael and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) are facing some challenges themselves, with the serious condition Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) is in. Willow will be faced with some hard truths, and there will be more hard decisions if Carly reveals Nina is her real mother, having to deal with that fact herself!
This inter-tangled situation could affect Sonny and Nina’s plans with each other too, possibly pushing them to pursue a wedding! Sonny is Wiley’s grandfather through his legal adoption of Michael, and Nina is Wiley’s through her other twin Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier)!
GH Spoilers – It Would Be Difficult To Deny Grandparents Visitation When They’re Married
It would be difficult for a court to deny two grandparents their visitation rights when the paternal grandfather marries the maternal grandmother! Willow will be a mixed bag of emotions when her maternity truth comes out, since Wiley will be both her nephew and her adopted son!
Carly and Michael will both have some adjustments to make to their “apple doesn’t fall far from the tree” attitudes, because Willow couldn’t be more different from Nelle! She’s not a whole lot different from Nina if only they could see past their judgmental attitudes to her kind heart!

I was a long time fan of GH. stopped watching after the N/F falls fiasco….can’t stand Sonny and Nina
as a couple…..don’t like the character of Nina at all…Unfortunately, I didn’t realize my DVR was still on for the gh series….Just stopped that, don’t want to waste dvr on gh..
If Sonny does leave which I have read he’s contemplating, I might watch occasionally. I always liked MB
and if he is tired of the character he has made famous, then that is entirely up to him….I find the new Sonny boring and lifeless. I find it unconscionable that he would leave his family for a cunning witch, (she acts one way in front of him and her true character shows when he is not within earshot. Nina ripped Avery out of her mothers’ womb and kidnapped her.(any other time Sonny would not even be in the same confines with her, let alone sleep with her. I find it impossible to accept the pairing
Couldn’t have said it better myself. I too have stopped watching for the same reason. I won’t waste my time watching Sonny/Nina. Maybe it is time for MB to retire. Usually people like to leave a show or retire when they are on top but MB is no longer on top which is very disappointing. He’s gained a huge fan base over the many years he has delivered as an amazing Sonny but apparently the fans and viewers don’t matter to him. It’s becoming more and more clear that viewership doesn’t matter to the writers either.

I’m with you all the way, sister. Nina is a horrible person. I hate her and @onny together. Don’t do it, writers! Then sleezy Nina took advantage of Sonny at his weakest moment. Then later when he was ready to reconcile with Carly, she blew it. I really hated that. Carly and Sonny need to get back to their power couple days. Nina needs therapy and then a new male character that can help her heal. Eiw5ep that or she could di`. I’d be alright with that, too. Not too fond of the Nina being Willow’s mom idea. Willow deserves better. Wish they would go a different way with that.
These writers have destroyed this soap.they are so clueless to what their own fan base wants. These writers will be the reason more and more people stop watching all together.No more NINA GET RID OF HER Stop giving her more stories.
Yes, they certainly have destroyed it and to think that I was crazy enough to hang in there while they dragged on and on and on with the N.F. Storyline. I eagerly awaited Sonny’s return to only have him finally return as a weak and whiny, frumpy and boring excuse for what was.
I no longer waste my time watching GH!
Please don’t keep Sonny and Nina together, i love him with Carley, and i wish that willow was not Nina’s daughter, i will stop watching GH if they keep Nina with Sonny, i have been a faithful viewer for the past 25 years. Why can’t someone else be willows mom like Alexis or Diane. Send Nina back to nixson falls by herself.

Is Nina that desparate for a child and to be a mom that she is willing to bust up a marriage??? I cant stand Nina and hope her character leaves port charles and never to return. Sonny belongs with Carly. CArly didnt deserve to have her husband ripped from her twice like this.
Please let the mob rub out this new unlikable Sonny and stupid crazy Nina. They have zero chemistry. This Sonny is a shell of himself and Nina is a crazy whiny nothing. Hate what the show has become.
If Sonny wants to leave the soap that is his choice. But I think the writers owe it to the fans to allow him to end with Carly and not nutty nina.

I have watched GH since it’s beginning (when I could) and I have disliked some of the storylines over the years, but this is awful! NF was ridiculous and putting Sonny with Nina was the worst mistake of all. If you’re trying to get GH canceled, you’re off to a very good start. It’s the only one of my ABC soaps left. Writers, please wake up before it’s canceled too!
