General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Spencer Picks A Fight With Esmé, Tries To Bring “Real Esmé” To The Surface?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) picks a fight with Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) trying to get “Real Esmé” to the surface. With Esmé having a job and being able to take Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) along, Spencer has to get charges reinstated quickly before she makes off with his brother!
General Hospital Spoilers – Limited Time To Act
Spencer knows he has a limited time to act before Esmé, working as a receptionist at “The Invader” tries to move with Ace to places unknown. She’s already made it clear that she and Ace would rather be anywhere besides Port Charles, and living anywhere except the Collins home where Spencer is. He has no idea why his aunt Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) would have hired her or let her bring Ace to work; he thought Alexis was on his side.
Alexis knew that Spencer was trying to fight his father Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) for custody before Ace was even born. Why would she think anything had changed since then since his father disappeared?
General Hosptial Updates – Esmé Prince Has Always Had A Bad Temper
Spencer reasons that just because Esmé supposedly has amnesia it shouldn’t change her personality she’s still not a blank slate and she’s always had a bad temper. Certain aspects of the personality shouldn’t be affected because they are located in different parts of the brain than memory, so he decides to pick a fight. Spencer’s been snooping in Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) psychology books while living at Grandma’s, and while he doesn’t want to call his step-grandfather stupid or gullible, he’s been fooled before. Esmé’s birth father Kevin’s twin Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) fooled Kevin for years with his “locked-in syndrome” and he suspects Esmé might be doing the same thing with her amnesia. Spencer can scarcely believe that even Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is fooled by Esmé’s act-she even felt sorry for her, as does Grandma Laura Collins (Genie Francis).
The Fight Must Be Witnessed By The Right People
Alexis assures Spencer privately that she is aware that if Esmé is faking it could come out at work, and she knows to be cautious-there are security cameras running. Alexis had cameras installed when they were looking for The Hook, and they are still online, including in the onsite daycare and the reception area. Alexis tells Spencer her daughter Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) had the same worry, that her kind gesture might come back to bite her.
She’d prefer Spencer didn’t pick a fight at her place of business, but if it brings the real Esmé to the surface on camera, it might be worth it. But she warns him that may not guarantee her charges being reinstated, she’d have to be goaded into revealing her memories-a tantrum isn’t enough!
