General Hospital Spoilers: Portia Can’t Leave Well Enough Alone, and Will End Up That Way

General Hospital spoilers suggest Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is soon to find herself in murky waters now that her relationship with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is strained. As a mother, she may have shared her opinions before, thinking it was harmless banter between two close-knit women. However, her deceptive actions have altered the dynamics of this mother-daughter relationship. At this point, she needs to tread carefully, navigate with caution, and humble herself to find out what exactly Trina wants from their relationship. This is no petty argument where both parties are guilty. Portia has a lot to answer for, and Trina’s interest in mending the family doesn’t change that.

General Hospital Spoilers — Trina Can Sense the Tension

Trina knows her mom doesn’t approve of her choice in boyfriends. That isn’t news. She’s never cared for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and hasn’t made it a mystery why. Trina acknowledges all that Spencer has done, but she also gives him credit where it’s due. She doesn’t understand why her mother can’t do the same.

For Portia, she’s tired of seeing her daughter get swept up into situations that most young women her age would never have to endure — and she blames her being tied to Spencer for all of it. Honestly, though, is she wrong?

GH Spoilers Leak Curtis Sides with Trina

Portia may not be wrong about Spencer, but she has no room to argue with Trina right now without risking pushing her further away. That is the overarching point that Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) keeps trying to make to his ex-wife. Pushing Trina’s buttons and making her feel like she only receives complaints and criticism about her relationship isn’t going to push her to rebuild her relationship with her mother. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) has sought to help Portia understand what Spencer is really about, too, but she doesn’t want to hear it. When push comes to shove, Curtis is going to support Trina’s relationship, which will leave Portia feeling like the bad cop — and like she doesn’t have a partner anymore. Let’s be honest, she may not.

General Hospital Spoilers — Portia is By Herself

Curtis only came home to make sure he gave this marriage a last ditch effort. He doesn’t want to walk away too soon without being fully sure that he’s done — you know, like he did with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper). Now, years later, he can’t keep his mind off his ex when he’s supposed to be making up with his wife. Perhaps Spencer and Trina reminded Curtis of what it looks like when a couple is truly in love. Maybe he wants the same chemistry and magnetism that they have. When he can’t find it at home, and Portia is only pushing him away after he accepts Trina’s guy, maybe he will conveniently find it somewhere else. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.

I am so sick of the looks on Portia’s and Nina’s faces. Constantly, fretting and hand wringing. Please get them both off the canvas. I have no interest in seeing Curtis with her or Sonny with Nina.
