General Hospital Spoilers: Olivia Falls for Nina’s Ploy — Until Carly Straightens Her Out
General Hospital spoilers reveal Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has employed some pretty cunning tactics to get Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) to do her bidding. The two women discussed the SEC case, with Olivia expressing her distress of being caught in the middle of Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) war.
Nina divulged rumors she had heard from Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) lawyer, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy), revealing that both Carly and Ned are suspected whistleblower suspects in the eyes of the Department of Justice and that the real target is none other than Sonny himself. Nina might think she’s got her hooks into Olivia now and could sow more seeds of doubt that help nudge Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to turn on Carly, but she’s in for a rude awakening when Sonny helps Carly and Olivia come back together again.
General Hospital Spoilers — Carly Gets to Olivia
Nina seized the moment when Olivia showed the slightest bit of vulnerability. It was just the in she had been looking for to start manipulating this situation to her advantage. Knowing that Olivia was certain Ned was guilty of turning Carly and Drew in to the SEC was all Nina needed to assure herself that this plan could work. But she wasn’t counting on Olivia and Carly making their way back to one another — and she won’t believe who helps them get there. Sonny decided to confront Ned for turning Carly in, and the don has pretty sharp instincts about liars.
When he walks away from his uproar with Ned, Sonny just might have second thoughts about who he believes turned them in, and he’ll share them with Carly. This could lead her to seek out Olivia and apologize. Of course, Olivia will express her regret for arguing with Carly about the situation and share that she believes they can figure out a way to fix the insider trading mess if they work together.
GH Spoilers Hint Ned Isn’t Guilty
It’s going to work in Ned’s favor that he actually isn’t guilty, and soon, he’ll have proof of that. He meant what he said when he planted a fat one on his wife’s lips and told her he was going to show her he was still the man she married. When he provides evidence that there is no way he was the rat, she’ll have no choice but to believe it. This misplaced distrust might finally leave Olivia with a smidgen of guilt that forces this couple to come back down to a level playing field — a place they haven’t been since before Ned slept with his ex-wife, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

Nina has been counting on her plan to turn Carly and Drew against each other to work. Now, she’s going to lose the only asset she has — Olivia. Will she be able to latch onto another Quartermaine to help her ensure Drew turns his back on Carly and leaves her to rot in prison? Rumors are flying that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) might be just the person to help Nina finish the job at hand.
