The show is setting it up to make it look like her bad decisions resulted from her emotions.
Nina called the SEC regarding Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) insider trading. It wasn’t a bad idea since what they were doing was an actual crime. However, Nina was dating a mobster when she made that call. Her fiance has been wanted for numerous crimes. Also, Nina is good friends with a former mobster, which makes her look like a hypocrite.
General Hospital spoilers suggest that Nina has many crimes to her name. She didn’t care about the actual crime that Carly and Drew were committing. All she cared about was her argument with Carly. She was reminded of her history with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and how she forgave Carly.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) came across information that wasn’t his to know. He could’ve done the right thing, but he didn’t. At the time, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) asked Nina if she wanted to go through with this. She let her emotions guide her bad decisions. Michael acted the same way and allowed his emotions to guide his decision-making.

The General Hospital spoilers reveal that it’s not just Nina’s fault. There are many characters on the show who make bad decisions like Michael. However, Nina gets the brunt of the backlash for her bad choices. The user noticed this overarching in the various storylines.
“It makes it so much more interesting to not just have it be the one (Nina), but others as well (Michael and Ned), who’ve made this type of emotional mistake. We’ve already seen Michael have moments of doubt, realizing that Willow and Wiley care more for Nina than he realized and that Carly enjoys running Kelly’s and might not want the MC back,” the original poster stated.
This is what makes a soap so delicious. It offers the stakes for the characters to overcome. There are many bumpy roads in this storyline. Many fans agree with this theory and hope it plays out this way. Most of these characters are good people who make plenty of mistakes.
