General Hospital Spoilers: Cody Could Strike it Rich with Deception, But Will Working Together Spell Doom for Him and Sasha?
General Hospital spoilers leak Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) was adamant that he didn’t want to take on a role in Deception’s marketing campaign because he wasn’t going to work with Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) in that manner and exploit whatever was happening between the two of them.
Much to his surprise, Sasha showed up in the nick of time to assert herself and insist he take the job if he wants it. Why shouldn’t he cash in for once?
It wouldn’t be in Cody’s nature to turn down that kind of loot, so it’s heartwarming for fans to watch him be so willing to walk away from Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) offer for Sasha’s sake — and for the sake of the chance he may have to be more than friends with her. Now, fans are wondering if their work-life relationship with each other will complicate matters though.

When he first came to town, Cody thought he would be walking away from Port Charles as a wealthy man — and the owner of the Ice Princess diamond. Instead, he found his father in the process and sacrificed a relationship with Mac Scorpio (John J. York) for the chance to pursue his con to get that sparkly gem.
He came close to pulling off another con to get his hands on it later — after he was told it was demolished in a fire — but he couldn’t pursue that legal case against the WSB. Now, he’s about to be catapulted into success the same way that Sasha was — but as the male face of Deception. It looks like Cody is about to get that fat check he’s been after.
GH Spoilers Claim Success Changes Cody
Cody has never had this kind of wealth before, and he’s all about it. But that does mean he could take on a new attitude to go with his new money — and Sasha may not take to that as much.
She’s falling for Cody because he’s down to earth and cares about her. As he starts to care more about his image, the paparazzi, and money, Sasha may be inclined to cut her losses and keep their relationship strictly professional. Hey, she did say there were no promises that this thing between them would go anywhere — ever.

We know, we know. This is far from what the fans want to hear, but rumor has it Cody’s behavior is going to be a major turn-off for Sasha. She loved getting to know him better and saw a side to Cody she will believe it is still there. But as fame and fortune start to take their toll on him, Sasha will notice the Cody she was falling for slowly slipping away.
It’s not the first time she will have seen that in this industry, but it may force her to recognize that she had already gotten her hopes up about him.
