General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of Monday, November 27-Friday, December 1 tease postponed investigations, Bingo bill collectors, and cross-examinations.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) postpones a police investigation, a Bingo bill collector arrives at the Quartermaines’ front door, and Sonny cross-examines Ava Jerome (Maura West) about a murder.
General Hospital Spoilers: Postponed Investigations
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) pays his father an off the record visit and says Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) is dead; and now they just have to figure out who did it.
Dante’s talking about the PCPD figuring it out and specifically him and his partner Detective Harrison Chase, (Josh Swickard) who are to collaborate on an investigation.
Sonny’s got a pretty good idea who might have done Austin in, although he’s not sure, so he tells Dante “no you don’t” talking about beginning their investigation.
Dante can’t postpone an investigation but Sonny can try to find some alternate persons of interest, considering he had Austin followed in the past-surely, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) comes to mind.
Sonny plans to give the person in mind a warning that she’s going be questioned in Austin’s murder and give her a chance to come clean to him.
GH Spoilers: Bingo Bill Collectors
At the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is shocked when her mother, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) tells her Grandma’s in trouble, as Gloria Cerullo (Ellen Travolta) spills the beans.
Gloria’s years long Bingo habit has inexplicably gotten her in trouble with the Russian mob, and she’s been getting threatening texts-that’s what got her so preoccupied she burned the Thanksgiving turkey!
As Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi) can be seen in the background, appearing to be heading for the front door to answer it, Gloria and Lois both look very frightened. There’s a mean looking Russian mobster Bingo bill collector (unnamed actor) at the door demanding payment-or is it payback?
General Hospital Spoilers: Cross-Examinations
Elsewhere, Sonny has gone to the Jerome Art Gallery looking for Ava Jerome (Maura West) who looks a combination of shocked and suspicious; he tells her that Austin is dead.
He knows Dante will be coming next and bringing her in for questioning and Sonny gives her a chance to come clean to him first. Sonny stresses strongly, if she killed Austin, she needs to tell him now, Ava kind of backing away from him.
Sonny’s not going to turn her in but if he’s going to keep his daughter Avery Corinthos-Jerome’s (Ava and Grace Scarola) mom out of prison he needs to know! There are too many convenient fall guys to frame for Austin’s murder, and Cyrus is just one of the choices.
