General Hospital Spoilers: Dante Has Questions For Ava, When Did She Last See Austin?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will have some serious questions for Ava Jerome (Maura West). After Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) tells her Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) been murdered, Dante wants to know when Ava last saw him!
General Hospital Spoilers: One Of The Last To See Him Alive?
More than likely, other than the murderer, Dante was actually the last one to see Austin alive because he went straight from talking to him at the PCPD to his house.
There, Austin unlocked his door, went in, and was surprised at someone he obviously knew inside, and that someone, walking away after two shots were heard was a man. But no one except General Hospital viewers and the murderer know that-the shoes shown on the person walking away afterwards were men’s dress shoes.
Dante had talked to his father first and Sonny himself questioned Ava afterwards; he told her if she killed Austin, she better tell him right then. Ava and Austin did have an intense argument at the Jerome Art Gallery when she confronted him over his lies, but that was before he decided to go to the police.
GH Spoilers: Ava Jerome Would Be A Person Of Interest
Ava and anyone having anything more than an acquaintance with Austin of course would be a person of interest; that even includes Sonny himself. Sonny’s got his eyes on Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) but at the time Austin was killed, he was at the Port Charles Grille giving Cyrus a warning he’d take him out.
Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) was in custody so unless he’s got a in and out key like Heather Webber (Alley Mills) he couldn’t have killed Austin-besides, he doesn’t wear dress shoes! So, while waiting on forensics to come back with anything found at the crime scene, Dante basically has to question anyone involved any at all with Austin.
General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Jerome Is Nervous
Naturally, Ava is nervous being questioned, but thanks to Sonny, she knew it was coming-probably what’s making her nervous is the PCPD pulling security feeds from the gallery.
Her intense argument with Austin gives her means and motive, but not necessarily opportunity-there may be an alibi opportunity for Ava unless she called a hit man! That is not likely the case, however, and who had means, motive and opportunity, plus whatever forensics brings back is what Dante and the PCPD have to figure out.
In the meantime, this may be another case of a person being eliminated as a suspect by Sonny and his men tracking down the real killer! With Ava’s fraught history with Austin and his cousin, she’s definitely got something to be nervous about.
