General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Ava Jerome (Maura West) will confess something to Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros). But it won’t be about killing Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth)!
General Hospital Spoilers: Nikolas Cassadine’s Alive
Ava had not yet had the chance to talk to her friend about finding out from Laura Collins (Genie Francis) that Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) alive.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) knows because Ava vented to him about Austin lying and Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) blackmailing her over Nikolas’ body. Ava found herself being glad Nikolas survived, and for more reasons than that she hadn’t killed him; although she’s still not sure how he survived.
Laura, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) couldn’t find Nikolas in Europe. Laura and Kevin still didn’t find him but did find a paper trail thanks to his banker in Switzerland, who Laura had known a long time.
GH Spoilers: Might Ava Jerome Wish They Could Have Worked Things Out?
Nina is glad as well to learn Ava didn’t kill Nikolas but seeing the look in Ava’s eyes and hearing the softening in her voice, asks her about her feelings. Does she ever wish that she and Nikolas could have worked things out, even in spite of the horrible things he did-she admits she does.
Keeping Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) locked in a tower for most of her pregnancy, however, is something unforgivable, and Ava knows that’s the reason he’s keeping his distance. He would be facing charges of kidnapping and unlawful imprisonment even if Esme doesn’t remember and can’t testify to it, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) can. But how Nikolas got out of that tack closet she locked him in is still a mystery-Austin and Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) must have moved him.
General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Jerome Reluctantly Confesses She Still Loves Him
Ava reluctantly confesses to Nina that she still loves Nikolas in spite of everything-it hurt her pride more than anything else when it was revealed he slept with Esme.
In spite of her residual feelings for her ex, she isn’t sure if she’d ever take him back, even if much of the ruination of their relationship was on Esme. Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) had his part in it too, but he was just as angry at Nikolas as she was when the affair with Esme came to light.
Ava isn’t sure she can ever trust a man again-at least not in a romantic relationship. She trusts Sonny, because he’s proven he can be trusted-but anyone else, she’s just not sure.
