General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Preps For Her Wedding Day, Worried And Without Her Best Friend

General Hospital spoilers exclaim Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is eager to marry the man of her dreams — Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

With some of their family in tow, the couple is off to Sonny’s island in Puerto Rico to say I do! Nina doesn’t seem to have a single care in the world right now, but as the time nears for her to walk down the aisle and she realizes she still hasn’t heard a peep from Ava Jerome (Maura West), she’s going to grow concerned.

But fear not, Nina isn’t suddenly developing a conscience or worried about Ava’s wellbeing. As usual, she’ll be worried about herself and making sure this wedding goes off without a hitch.

General Hospital Spoilers — Ava’s Silence Is Far From Golden

What could be keeping Ava from returning Nina’s calls and texts? What kind of best friend doesn’t respond when her bestie says she’s eloping? Nina might find it odd that Ava didn’t even chime in to let her know Avery couldn’t make it because she wasn’t feeling well.

Still, something just won’t sit right with Nina, and it’s going to give rise to some serious anxiety on her part that everyone might just write off as wedding day jitters. But the closer that she gets to walking down the aisle, the more Nina might worry that she needs to come clean before Ava wipes the floor with her and tells everyone the truth — that it was Nina who tried to throw Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) in prison.

GH Spoilers Suggest Nina Could Confess

It’s totally possible that Nina’s nerves will get the best of her and she’ll feel forced to come clean about everything she did behind Sonny’s back to tear Carly away from the family fold. Her jealousy and insecurity got the best of her and she was still wanting revenge against Carly for the past.

She hasn’t forgiven Carly for hiding the truth about Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) or Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) from her. But in the interest of wanting to make sure she has nothing to worry about and no longer needs to look over her shoulder every day, Nina could choose to start this marriage off right with a hefty dose of honesty. In all likelihood, it’s possible that Ava’s absence will rattle both Nina and Sonny enough to head home before their intended nuptials can happen. Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola) might be safe with her nanny and Carly, but finding out what has become of Ava is going to be important to the don and his future Mrs — and both for very different reasons, clearly.

Nina might be worried that Ava is icing her out in preparation to tell Carly and Sonny the truth, but Sonny is just concerned that one of his baby mamas is in harm’s way.
