General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Needs a Maid of Honor — Who Will it Be?
General Hospital spoilers indicate Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is headed for holy matrimony with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). While she ditched all plans for a big wedding at the Metro Court Hotel, that doesn’t mean Nina doesn’t want her wedding day to be the most special day of her life.
Having most of Sonny’s children there — as well as her own daughter, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) — there means the world to her.
But taking things one step further, Nina is sticking to tradition and clinging to the hopes of a maid of honor on her big day. Will anyone come through for Nina and be her official sidekick as she gives herself away to the mobster?
General Hospital Spoilers — Kristina Couldn’t Be More Excited
Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) might be headed to the island to celebrate with Sonny and Nina because she just loves her father that much, but she’s also grown quite fond of Nina. It went a long way with Kristina when she learned through the hostess at the Metro Court that Nina was talking her up and praising her efforts to start a youth center for the LGBTQIA+ community.
Nina’s continued support of her efforts might have served to warm Kristina to her a bit more easily than the rest of the family. Still, we heard Kristina mention recently that she hasn’t forgotten all that Nina has done to her family, and that does matter to her.
We know Kristina would jump at the chance to be Nina’s numero uno on her wedding day, but would that really be the best fit? Kristina has already agreed to help Nina get ready on the big day, and that’s about as close as these two are likely to get right now.
GH Spoilers Spill Ava is Absent
There is no one more qualified to be Nina’s maid of honor than Ava Jerome (Maura West), but she’s nowhere to be found. Nina’s calls and texts have gone without response. She might assume for a time that Ava is buried in her own feelings — or a martini.
But the reality is Ava has likely been taken against her will by Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey). Of course, Nina has no idea what Ava has gotten herself mixed up in — but Sonny does.
If she relays Ava’s radio silence to her fiancé, she just might miss out on both her bestie as her maid of honor and her man as her husband as Sonny races to get back to Port Charles and make sure Ava is safe. It’s safe to say, either way, Ava won’t be showing up for Nina’s big day.
General Hospital Spoilers — Willow is the Obvious Choice
Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) is the perfect choice to be Nina’s maid of honor — or, matron of honor, that is. Being Nina’s daughter is just the cherry on top of this happy day for Nina. She never thought she would share such sentimental moments with her grown-up little girl.
As she and Willow continue to make the best of the time they have now that they know about their relation to one another, Harmony Miller’s (Inga Cadranel) warnings won’t be far from Willow’s mind. Likewise, Nina won’t be able to stop worrying that she could lose all of this if Willow ever learns about her entanglement with the SEC.
