General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Goes Head-To-Head With Jason
According to the General Hospital spoilers, Sonny Corinthos will go head-to-head with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Sonny found out about his plans to take over Corinthos Coffee. Jason met with Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) at the warehouse. She asked him why they were meeting there. Jason tells her that Corinthos Coffee will be his new office.
Diane reminds Jason that Sonny owns the business. Jason tells her: “Not anymore.” This revelation suggests why Sonny is upset. He has a run-in with Jason, in which he yells at him. Meanwhile, people finally notice that Sonny has been acting out of character lately.
Someone has been tampering with his bipolar meds. Jason asks Sonny if he’s been taking his medication. Sonny doesn’t appreciate Jason asking him about his mental health. The mob boss doesn’t realize his meds aren’t working as they should.
The General Hospital spoilers reveal that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has been tampering with Sonny’s meds. He encouraged Sonny’s doctor to reduce his dosage and leave the rest as a placebo. Val’s goal is for Sonny to have a breakdown so that he and Pikeman can’t get him out.

Because of this, Sonny will be headed for a downward spiral. However, some GH fans wonder if it’s more than just the bipolar meds that are causing Sonny to act this way. This was brought up on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards.

The original poster noted: “I had been speculating an early onset Alzheimer’s exacerbated by the trauma of the injury in another thread, but I don’t think the show would go there with Sonny.”
“I have been saying the same, Sonny has been acting out since his return from Nixon Falls, and not all of it is because of Val,” one user responded.
“Sonny hasn’t been right in the head since Nixon Falls,” another fan agreed.
The General Hospital spoilers suggest there’s more to the story. Sonny might realize that he has another problem that’s not related to his bipolar disorder. The medication hasn’t been reduced yet. Sonny has been acting erratically before Val’s arrangement with the doctor.
Val noticed that Sonny started acting erratically. He planned to reduce the dosage to exacerbate his issues. What also doesn’t help is that Sonny drinks heavily, worsening his behavior. People are getting a sense of the real Sonny, who is a hothead and narcissist.
