General Hospital Spoilers: If Dex is Karen’s Son, Is Jason or Jagger His Father?
General Hospital Spoilers report Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) has been in Port Charles for two years now, and we still know very little about where he came from.
His military background has been highlighted numerous times as an explanation for his loyalty to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), as well as his newly formed interest in joining the ranks of the PCPD.
But what about his home life? What — and who — shaped the man Dex became before he joined his brothers in arms? One prevailing theory is starting to circulate that he may be the son of Karen Wexler (Marie Wilson).
If that’s the case, we’re bound to see an all-out war ensue when Special Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) finds out — but he may be overstepping in assuming he’s Dex’s daddy.
General Hospital Spoilers — A War Reignited
Jason and Jagger already aren’t on the same side of the law — nor do their alliances match up. It’s clear that while Jason can’t remember Karen all that well, he still understands his past happened.
In contrast, Jagger still doesn’t seem to be over the past, nor the mistakes he made — like cheating on Karen and abandoning her.
Finding out Dex is her son will rock both of these men, and they just may come to hate each other even more when it appears they’re in competition over DNA.
GH Spoilers Ask Who is Dex’s Dad?
Fans have suspected from the very beginning of Dex coming to town that he might have been Jason’s long-lost son he never knew he had. But Jason was gone, presumed dead, and the storyline just wasn’t there to dredge up his past in his absence.
Besides, many fans would’ve taken such a story as a poor attempt to keep Jason alone by replacing him with a junior version of himself who followed in his footsteps.
We weren’t settling for anything less than Jason coming back. On the other hand, no one expected Jagger to return to town after all these years. Either one of them could be Dex’s father.
General Hospital Spoilers — Jagger Set Jason Up From the Start
It’s possible that Jagger already knows Dex is Jason’s son. Perhaps he found out before the cave collapsed around Jason in Greece.
Maybe it was always a part of his plan to keep him away from Port Charles — not just to stick it to Sonny or manipulate Jason against the mob, but to keep Jason away from the son he shared with Karen — a sore and jealous point for Jagger.
