General Hospital Spoilers: Nikolas is Back, But is Ava Really on His Side?
General Hospital Spoilers claim one thing is quite clear. Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) came back to Port Charles only to reconnect with Ava Jerome (Maura West).
He wanted her to know where his heart stands, how he still feels about her, and to make a play for her help in sticking it to Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).
Ava did more than that though when she used the opportunity to punish Esme for breaking into Wyndemere as leverage against her. Keeping her locked up long-term might not be easy, and that’s why it makes little sense that Nikolas would go away now.
Still, like he said, he is a wanted man. So why risk coming home to leave so easily? Was it really to make peace with Ava, or does he have something bigger up his sleeve? Was she really sad to see him go, or was she playing him for a fool, too?
General Hospital Spoilers — Mixed Messages
Nikolas told Ava it was too soon for him to make peace with his son and mother, and yet just moments after he said goodbye to Ava, he was at Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) door.
Has he changed his mind and decided to stick it out in Port Charles? Is he planning to plead for his freedom so he can care for Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) in light of Esme’s absence while she’s in jail?
Wouldn’t it make sense that he be held more accountable for holding her hostage than she for breaking and entering? That’s not really how this works anyway.
GH Spoilers Leak Ava is Vulnerable
Maybe Nikolas’ return caught Ava in a weak moment. She has been through an awful lot since he left, and learning that she didn’t kill him didn’t really spare her the anguish she went through for all of the months she thought she did.
Nevertheless, she’s still reeling from Austin Gatlin Holt’s (Roger Howarth) death, and she has no idea that Nikolas might be connected to it either.
As information comes to like that helps her link the two of them, she may quickly remember all of the pain and hurt Nik has caused her since she fell for him the first time.
General Hospital Spoilers — The Pain Resurfaces
Ava might be on Nikolas’ side right now. She was genuine when she said “you’re welcome,” having made sure Esme was in a jail cell for however long possible.
But that doesn’t mean she’s going to stick it out with #TeamNik when she learns the truth about what happened that night after she clobbered him over the head.
Learning that it was Austin who helped him get back on his feet — and that he may have repaid the doctor with who plugs to the chest — won’t go a long way in helping her learn to trust her ex-husband.
