General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny’s Offer, Find Lucy, Robert Turns Him Down
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will offer to use his resources to find Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). But Robert Scorpio, (Tristan Rogers) not wanting to risk yet another conflict of interest due to Sonny’s criminal reputation, will turn him down!
General Hospital Spoilers: The PCPD Is Shorthanded, Can’t Use WSB
Sonny knows that the Port Charles Police Department is shorthanded, and Robert’s been forbidden to use the WSB by Deputy Mayor Eileen Ashby (Heather Mazur). Robert now knows, thanks to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) having told him before she was set up, that Ashby is working for Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). Sonny doesn’t have a lot of henchmen like he once did when his crime family was a huge influence in Port Charles but he’s got people he could spare.
If Sonny’s people could find Lucy alive, at least Anna’s murder charge would be dropped, even though Lucy would be fooled by the shooter’s costume as well. Robert has had to recuse himself from the case but Assistant District Attorney Jennifer Arden (Jennifer Field) is pushing for a first degree murder charge with no body found.
GH Spoilers: The Drone Footage May Have Been Altered
The Port Charles Police Department’s forensic lab seems to be stalled in trying to prove whether the drone footage purportedly showing Anna shooting Lucy was altered. Even Damian Spinelli, (Bradford Anderson) who has worked with the PCPD before and helped crack cases, has been forbidden to help out where this drone footage is concerned.
It’s an obvious frame with many Cassadine tentacles with far reaches into the Port Charles City government and both the Mayor’s and the DA’s offices. Sonny highly suspects there are Cassadine moles in high levels in the PCPD as well, higher than Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) level. Jordan, Dante Falconeri, (Dominic Zamprogna) and even Robert himself all suspect the same but everyone’s hands are tied; Sonny again makes his plea to help but is turned down.

Sonny’s tired of no answers when he knows he could help; if the drone footage was altered and he and his people can find Lucy alive, there’s a chance. Lucy may be able to rule out Anna as her attacker, even though the drone footage seems to indicate a possible doppelgänger. She may actually have recognized the shooter as she looked to have exclaimed “YOU!” in the footage before being shot, Dante dropping a few hints.
Neither Dante, Jordan, Robert, or Mac and Felicia Scorpio (John J. York, Kristina Wagner) believe Anna shot Lucy, but Cassadine corruption and control in high ranking places ties their hands. Sonny and his people are under no such restrictions and he decides he’s going to help whether Robert okays it or not.
