General Hospital Spoilers: Joss and Dex Pursue Michael’s Plan Without Him — and Will Use the Dirt
General Hospital spoilers tease Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) are really in a bind trying to figure out what their next step should be. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has called off his plans to rail against his dad, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Sonny’s criminal empire will continue to reign over Port Charles, and Sonny will continue to order Dex around like a minion. Joss isn’t feeling too keen on Dex staying in the mob, where his life is in danger every day. But his only other option is to skip town, and she’s not ready to give him up — nor her life at home to be with him. But there might be a third option they haven’t dared to explore — turning Sonny in on their own. Will Joss sway Dex to go against the mob boss for the betterment of their romance?
General Hospital Spoilers — Joss Tried and Failed
Joss wants Dex to be safe and sound when he leaves her side to go to work. She wants a normal boyfriend who waits tables and manages restaurants as he works his way through college — not a mob enforcer who might die when he goes out for coffee and can’t tell her when he’ll be back from the secret place he’s headed to.
Alright, maybe she should’ve chosen more wisely when she still had a more “normal” boyfriend, but it’s worth noting that Dex isn’t just in this situation because he wanted to score some quick cash; he’s in it still because he wants to be. Bad boy types don’t typically fall into cafe waiter positions. When Joss went to Sonny on her own asking for Dex’s freedom, the mob boss could’ve given her a lesson in loving a mobster. Dex isn’t trapped. He’s right where he wants to be. Someone tell Joss.
GH Spoilers Leak Dex Feels Pressured
Joss’ need to have Dex all to herself and out of the line of fire isn’t completely asinine, but it’s not what Dex wants. He just doesn’t know how to tell her that. So he doesn’t, and he lets her continue to spin her wheels about how to get him out of the mob all while kind of enjoying what he does for a living and hoping it doesn’t come to an end anytime soon. But Joss isn’t going to let up.
So when she comes up with a new plan to carry out Michael’s original attack on Sonny, sans her big brother, Dex just might drag his feet. He can’t let Joss suspect he doesn’t want out of the mob, but he also doesn’t really want to go through with this and has only felt relief since Michael let him off the hook.
General Hospital Spoilers — Sonny Won’t See it Coming
Whether Dex likes it or not, Joss is going to be intent to see this plan through. She might even go as far as gaining access to the footage against Sonny herself. Could that be because deep down she knows this isn’t what Dex wants and knows he might not cooperate? Either way, Dex is going to reluctantly go along with Joss’ plan in hopes of keeping her safe and not letting it go off the rails. Does he stand a chance?
