General Hospital Spoilers say Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) appear to be on thin ice at the moment as they argue over the details of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) latest legal snafu and the ethics behind Robert’s quest to put the mob master away.
Diane doesn’t just want to hang onto her strongest and wealthiest client, but she has an affection for Sonny that drives Robert up the wall.
At the same time, she has an affection for the law, and it drives her mad that Robert isn’t as keen on respecting the valid games she plays with it. These two just can’t get it together, and we have to question if that’s because they were never meant to.
General Hospital Spoilers — We Wanted to See Robert Settle Down Again
Robert has always been a difficult guy to pin down. His career has taken center stage, yet he’s managed to remain a little less self-important than many of the other partners and parents in Port Charles whose investigations, spy games, and careers in or against the law somehow managed to come first time and time again.
But Robert has settled down in his career over the years, and now he’s ready to settle down in his personal life, but that doesn’t mean it’ll be with Diane.
GH Spoilers Suggest Port Charles Only Needs One Alexis
Sorry, Alexis, but you’re apparently doomed to be the lonely window of Port Chuck. The city doesn’t need yet another successful attorney who can’t land a man.
Alexis makes it make sense. She’s a hot mess. She’s dysfunctional. She is an alcoholic who doesn’t always stay on the wagon. She’s butchered many of her own relationships, and picked many of the wrong men.
But that’s not Diane. If anything, it’s painted as though Diane just can’t lower her standards enough to meet a reasonable guy. It’s as though shooting for the stars is frowned upon. It’s also a wonder how she and Alexis have anything in common but the law.
General Hospital Spoilers — A Self-Fulfilling Prophecy
Since she first began having any interest in Robert, Diane has been all too aware of his affection for his exes. He just couldn’t shake Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) when she blew back into town and into his life.
A few passionate kisses and one too many late nights chasing down the bad guys like they used to were enough for Robert to start wondering if he was meant to rekindle something with Holly.
Ultimately, he decided otherwise. But now he’s soon to find himself in the same predicament with the latest ex who needs his shoulder to cry on — the newly single and devastated Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
