General Hospital (GH) spoilers show that the rumor mill is on fire after the Friday December 29 episode in which Sprina discussed leaving Port Charles, New York for Paris. Seemingly out of the Cordon Bleu, Trina was accepted at the Sorbonne. Huh?
Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) waited while Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) got dressed for their New Year’s Eve party and spied a letter from the Sorbonne.
When he asked her about it, Trina replied that he wasn’t supposed to see that. Because secrets are what keep relationships healthy.
Anyway, long story short, Trina has been accepted to study there temporarily, but she doesn’t want to leave Spencer.

This is one more curve in the road for the couple who have been terrorized by Esme Prince (Avery Pohl). As fans know, Esme has regained her memories and went to see psycho mom Heather Webber (Alley Mills) for advice on what to do next.

Chavez is said to be taking time off to film the Netflix series, Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story. You know, the one where millionaire teen brothers assassinate their California parents then go on a spending spree.
This sudden Sorbonne angle may be a way for the show to explain Spencer and Trina disappearing from Port Chuck for a bit. They are tied at the hip right now, and even Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) is doing her best to try and accept Spencer.
Maybe she will be glad that Trina has an escort abroad, which would be a logical way to explain both characters being offscreen for a while.
