The General Hospital spoilers via SoapCentral.com reveal that Carly Hughes’ character Elise has been hired to help Deception. There is a bitter feud between the cosmetics company and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).
Fans are desperate to know whether Tracy is working with Erica Kane (Susan Lucci) and her company Enchantment to go head-to-head with Deception.
Elise is an attorney who will battle Jackson Montgomery (Walt Willey) in the courtroom. She has a secret that will expose him to everyone.
It might even reveal his connection to Erica Kane, which could bring her onto the show. Little is known about Elise’s character. She will first appear during the week of August 28, 2023.
General Hospital Fans React
The General Hospital fans reacted to the news of Carly Hughes as Elise. Most of them want the show to focus on Deception rather than Pikeman.
They think this will take an interesting turn. Some of them shared their reaction on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards.
One disappointed fan wrote: “I was hoping to see Scotty representing Deception.” Another noted: “I just hope they have Maxie, Sasha. Lucy Deception winning the legal argument as I don’t want to see Deception going under.”
As you can see, some of the GH fans are skeptical of the casting. They believe that the other lawyers in Port Charles would’ve offered more of a convincing argument. One user noted that Elise could easily become the new face of Deception with her good looks.
Another wrote that any other lawyer that isn’t Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) “gets my vote of approval.” Some GH fans are interested in seeing how a different attorney will take on this case.
One fan speculated whether the viewers would find out her clientele, which could include a familiar face from daytime television.
It could be Martin Grey’s (Michael E. Knight), which is rumored to be Erica Kane (Susan Lucci). Some believe that the AMC crossover will continue to happen with the queen of daytime visiting Port Charles.
