General Hospital spoilers tease that when Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) first returned to Port Charles with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), the couple was very much in love.
That was a long time ago, Spencer is now in love with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Esme is the mother of Spencer’s half-brother due to her tryst with Spencer father, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss).
Spencer has never looked at Esme the same way after her many betrayals, including when she slept with Nikolas.
General Hospital Spoilers – Spencer Cassadine Is Happy With Trina Robinson!
Today, Spencer and Trina are quite happy together. Trina has been offered quite the opportunity overseas, and at the moment she and Spencer are planning to leave town together.
Meanwhile, Esme is overwhelmed by all of her memories coming back, and can’t quite shake her old darker impulses. She claims that she is a changed woman but that may not be true.
She has already lied to both Spencer and Laura Collins about her memory returning. Esme knows if her memory return becomes public knowledge, then the crimes she committed during that period will be officially charged against her.

But Esme slipped up during an argument with Spencer by calling him “Spence”. That’s what she called him before she lost her memory, so Spencer is now convinced that Esme has regained her memory.
But Esme has been a good mother, and it seems likely that Spencer will keep Esme’s secret in order to keep her from facing consequences for her old crimes so she can continue raising his brother.
General Hospital Spoilers – Trina Robinson Won’t Stand For Spencer Cassadine’s Protection Of Esme Prince!
If Spencer plans to keep Esme’s secret, he should likely expect Trina to be furious. Esme’s crimes were mostly against her and by once again choosing Esme over Trina, that may be the straw that breaks the camel’s back.
Trina may indeed go overseas for her education, but Spencer’s invitation could likely be revoked and their future is cast in doubt. Spencer promised to always put Trina first going forward and he will live to regret it if he doesn’t follow through.
