General Hospital Spoilers reveal Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is coming back to Port Charles, and some fans think it’s good timing. Jason’s son, Jake Spencer (Hudson West), has been growing closer to Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez).
A Cassadine probably wouldn’t have been Jason’s first pick for Jake to cozy up to any more than it was Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst), but Elizabeth has acclimated to the situation.
Still, when Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) shot Charlotte, it left Elizabeth in a more difficult position — knowing it would be even harder now to pry Jake away from her. Will Jason have any more luck, or won’t he find it necessary at all?
General Hospital Spoilers — Jake Is Headed Down A Dangerous Path
Jake has been playing with fire ever since he started spending more time with Charlotte, and there appears to be very little Elizabeth can do about it.
She was happy that he confided in her about how much time he was spending with Charlotte, but at the same time, she had reservations about it since Charlotte was so cruel to Jake’s little brother — Aiden Spencer (Enzo De Angelis) — years ago.
Raising Jake without Jason’s influence was something Elizabeth always thought she wanted in his younger years, but not having it now is proving to be more challenging than she expected.
On top of that, she doesn’t even have someone like Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) to rely on now. With Charlotte only growing more dangerous, will Jason’s homecoming bring relief of Elizabeth’s anxiety?
GH Spoilers Hint Victor Is Still In Control Of Charlotte
Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) really did a number on his granddaughter. Managing to continue controlling her from his grave was a feat no one would have imagined he was capable of.
While the storyline has shifted away from Charlotte more recently, we have every reason to believe she’s just as messed up as she ever was. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has fled her relationship with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) after accidentally shooting Charlotte when the young girl broke into her apartment.
Although Charlotte is healing — physically — there is still much to figure out about her, mentally.
General Hospital Spoilers — Victor Is Also In Control Of Jason?
Do we really expect Jason to come home after all this time in complete control of himself? That would likely mean he’s been in control of his decision to stay away from home for the last two years, and that’s not like him.
Some fans are wondering if Peter August (Wes Ramsey) wasn’t still pulling strings when that tunnel collapsed around Jason, but others have suggested that a Cassadine island was the perfect place for Jason to allegedly meet his maker.
If anyone found him, he would be most valuable to the sinister Cassadine family, and Victor wouldn’t hesitate to weaponize him against everyone back in Port Charles.
Could Victor’s death have led to Jason’s eventual release or escape? Perhaps, or is Victor somehow still alive and about to return home for his reckoning — on Jason’s coattails?

Ha! I thought this headline was a tickler for Dex. Since everyone seems to think he is Jason’s son.
Have a sad estimate for fans. DNA results once GH storylines start climbing up that ladder it takes the writers over 2+ years to resolve. So in 2026, we will find out if Jason fathered Dex and how that came about.
