General Hospital Spoilers: Drew And Anna Commiserate-Could It Turn Into Romance?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will commiserate, sharing their worst hurt and pain with each other.
People bonding over pain and hurt can form a powerful bond, and Drew’s soon to get some competition for Carly Spencer (Laura Wright); could the bond turn into romance?
General Hospital Spoilers: Drew Cain And Anna Devane Could Have Much In Common
The fact is, Drew and Anna could have much in common-besides being hurt by Cassadines and in captivity and presumed dead at different times in their lives.
The whole reason Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) was raised by Mac and Felicia Scorpio (John J. York, Kristina Wagner) was because Anna and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) were presumed dead.
In reality, they were in captivity in different places-Drew has had the same experience and his own daughter, Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) who had to adjust like Robin did.
Their daughters are something positive that they have in common, and back to the dark side, they were both part of the memory mapping experiments-Drew the most recent, Anna the first.
Anna and her twin Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes) were separated at birth and didn’t know of each other until adulthood-the same with Drew and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
GH Spoilers: Rescue Missions In Common
Drew as a Seal, and even afterward since he came to Port Charles and Anna as a spy have rescue missions in common-and they’ve both been brainwashed and come out of it.
But more importantly, they’ve both been through bad breakups and heartbreak. With Anna, it’s recent-she and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) unfortunately are over for good-they couldn’t find their way back after Valentin kept secret Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) had stalked her.
It’s a real shame since Anna may be the one person who could get Charlotte help for her brainwashing-but it looks a like a bad breakup’s ahead for Drew as well.
A blind person could see a reconciliation ahead for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly when he interacted with her following Bobbie Spencer’s (Jacklyn Zeman) death.
General Hospital Spoilers: Bonding Over Grief
Drew may not have known Bobbie that well but Anna certainly did-Drew stepped up to help Carly all he could to set up her funeral. But that doesn’t mean that Drew doesn’t understand Anna’s grief as well, after trying to help Carly with hers-he got just attached enough to his twin to grieve Jason’s presumed death.
Moreover, he grieves not having been able to save him-Anna has similar regrets and grief over not being able to help Charlotte, and her accidental shooting grieves her as well.
And then one more sad thing that Anna and Drew have in common they could bond over-they’ve both had children who died. Drew had Oscar Nero (Garrett Lake Stitt) and Anna her baby Leora Hayward (twins Elizabeth and Hailey, last name unknown) in Pine Valley-that’s a lot.
