General Hospital spoilers reveal Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is headed back to Port Charles, and once again, he’s going to be very different from the guy who left his loved ones behind as he was buried underneath the rubble of a tunnel that caved in.
It was a difficult reality for everyone who loved him to have to face, especially without a body to prove he was really gone.
When he returns to their daily lives, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) just might find herself feeling a level of forgiveness and sorrow for having let Jason go when she did.
Sure, she’s in a new relationship now and doesn’t necessarily want to rock the boat with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), but will it be that easy to turn off her budding feelings for her ex-husband?

While we still have no knowledge about what happened to Jason after that tunnel crumbled around him, we do know he’s been gone far too long for him to have been staying away on his own accord.
At least, we think we know that. Rumor has it Jason is going to come home a very changed man, and it could come as a relief to some of the people who love him while it comes as a stirring surprise to others.
Word on the street is Jason is going to be a much calmer and risk-averse person than anyone has ever known him to be. He might even come back believing he is Jason Quartermaine again!
GH Spoilers Hint Sonny and Carly Will Be Stunned
The reality that their best friend is alive and well is going to be a lot for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to take in, but it will pale in comparison to them trying to wrap their minds around who he appears to be.
The Jason they knew and loved wasn’t just a hit man. He was a kind and compassionate hit man. If he comes home thinking he’s just another Quartermaine, he might look a lot different.
Not wanting to take risks or have anything to do with the criminal world is one thing, but keeping his distance from them because they do is another.

Sam’s relationship with Dante has been ticking right along without any hiccups in the road. So it makes sense that Jason’s return might make for one.
They’re overdue for it in the world of soap operas. Will Sam see Jason in a different light after he has shed his criminal ways and just wants to make an honest living and be a father to his children?
When they were married, Sam couldn’t stomach staying a family unit as long as Jason was at risk of putting them all under fire.
