General Hospital spoilers tease when Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) shows up at Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) door, the conversation won’t be what Liz expected. Carly might have the tact to ask if Elizabeth is okay, but for the most part, she’ll be there to suit her own needs. It’s not a stretch to assume this conversation isn’t going to go over well, given how these two ladies feel about one another.
General Hospital Spoilers — Elizabeth Isn’t in the Mood for Carly
To be fair, Elizabeth is never in the mood for one of Carly’s tirades, much less for being interrogated by her. Elizabeth likely feels she owes Carly nothing, but she does understand her concern about Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) safety, mother to mother. Still, Elizabeth has already lied to the police; so she can hardly go back on her word now just to satisfy Carly’s curiosity or make her feel better about Esme potentially roaming the streets of Port Charles.
GH Spoilers Indicate Carly Won’t Back Down
When Elizabeth doesn’t offer up an explanation that makes sense, Carly isn’t going to walk away. Carly has a nose for liars, and she will be able to tell Elizabeth is being dishonest and withholding information. If Liz isn’t going to share what she knows about Esme’s whereabouts with Carly on her own, then Carly will most certainly come up with other clever ways to figure it out — starting with keeping an eye on Liz when she least expects it.
General Hospital Spoilers — She May Find Other Ways to Meddle
Carly still has connections in “the business.” Divorcing Sonny didn’t leave her penniless or without a friend. She knows the right people to call — even if one of them has to be Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) — to get the job done when investigating someone. Of course, staking out Liz’s house is a whole lot easier than staking out Nikolas’. Still, when Carly sees Liz head back to pier 55, and board the launch to Spoon Island, she might put two and two together herself.
Carly could plan her own trip to Spoon Island, and interrogating Nikolas is likely to go over just as smoothly as it does with Liz. Carly and Nikolas have a difficult history, but she knows Nikolas well as their families have overlapped and intertwined for years. Will she be able to tell Nikolas is also withholding the truth from her? Determined to keep her daughter safe, Carly won’t be turning her cheek away from these two any time soon.
