General Hospital Spoilers: Austin Warns Ava Not to Cross Mason — Will She Anyway?
General Hospital spoilers reveal Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) has already warned Ava Jerome (Maura West) once not to even attempt going up against Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey). Austin’s cousin is nefarious and clearly not acting in his own best interest but that of his boss lady’s. And just who is this boss lady anyway? It sounds like, for the first time, Austin knows her identity.
That hasn’t been clear before the entire time since he moved to Port Charles. Seeking to escape the life he left behind where he worked as a lackey similar to his cousin, Austin was done with the family business and wanted out from under the thumb of all interested parties. He knows exactly what they’re about and what this elusive woman wants, and he wants to keep Ava alive and breathing. It’s too bad Ava thinks she can outsmart Mason and whoever he’s working for, because she’s not going to heed Austin’s advice at all.
General Hospital Spoilers — Mason Presses Ava to Cozy Up to Sonny
When Mason confronted Ava and Austin in the good doctor’s office, they were both annoyed to see his face again. Hoping he would’ve stayed gone a bit longer, or perhaps forgot what they had been up to, Mason has circled back around — and he’s here to collect. The boss lady has sent him on strict orders not to leave Port Charles until Ava carries out a very important task — getting closer to her baby daddy, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Just how is she going to do that, we ask?
GH Spoilers Suggest Nina is On Her Way Out
Ava knows Sonny very well. The only way to get close to that guy is to pounce on him when he’s lonely. Sonny has never done well with being single, and thus, he never really is. Every time a woman walks out on him, it’s usually because he’s already found her replacement. Suffice it to say he did the same thing with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) this time around as his marriage to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) was coming to an end. Now, he’s preparing to wed Nina, and if Ava is going to get her claws into him, she can’t let that happen.
General Hospital Spoilers — Ava Might Be, Too
Ava will have to forsake her friendship with Nina in order to make sure Mason becomes aware of the don’s very public break-up with her. That’s just how this cookie has to crumble. Ava knows what Nina has done, and she’ll have to give her up to Sonny if she wants instant access to him. He’ll be vulnerable, sad, and heartbroken, but Ava has to protect herself and her daughter above Nina.
Unfortunately, Ava just won’t be able to bring herself to seduce the guy. Been there, done that. Instead, she’ll level with him and tell him how much trouble she’s in. He already knows part of it anyway. She can rely on Sonny to be discreet and help her out of this situation, right? Not if Mason gets to her first when he senses she’s about to turn on him and spill her guts to Sonny. Do you think she will?
