General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Speculation, Carly’s Best-Kept Secret, When Will It Blow?
General Hospital spoilers indicate that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has also been eager to take over other people’s kids. Carly even helped Kristina Corinthos- Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) while Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was in the hospital. Carly even made sure that Josslyn Jacks was with her and Sonny while they were together and not with Jasper Jacks (ex-Ingo Rademacher) and of course, everyone knows that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was never with his father either.
General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Corinthos Has Helped Raise Avery Corinthos
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Carly has been especially close to Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola). Carly has practically raised her from the start. Carly has been “Mama Carly” to Avery since she learned to talk. Carly also still has a great deal to do with Avery even though she’s not with Sonny anymore. Is there some other reason that Carly is so entangled in Avery’s life? Does Carly know something that no one else does?
Originally there was a question about Avery’s paternity when Ava first became pregnant. Carly’s son Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) was one of the potential fathers. Could Carly have sabotaged the paternity test to make Sonny Avery’s father? Has Carly been covering up for years that Morgan is really Avery’s father?
General Hospital Updates – Why Would Carly Corinthos Make This Switch?
Carly hated Ava and hated her being with Morgan even more. Carly has had some training that the hospital so she could have easily changed test results or had someone, including her mother do it. Carly could have wanted to keep her grandchild close without having Morgan tied to Ava. Would Carly have done this and kept Avery from her father?
Of course, the test that was originally done was not a paternity test at all. Fans remember that the test was done to see if Carly shared any markers with the child. Morgan was not available and that was the quickest way to get results. Carly could have changed those or used someone else’s blood sample, etc. But would Carly have even thought about this at the time?
Carly Corinthos Lost Morgan Corinthos
Carly had no idea that she would eventually end up losing Morgan. Carly didn’t really have a need to change the results at the time. However, Sonny being Avery’s father was so much easier because there was less pressure on Morgan and his mental issues. Would Morgan have been ok with his daughter being raised as his sister? Could Morgan have ever forgiven his mother for keeping his child from him.?
Carly has no issues keeping children from their parents that is for sure. Would Carly have kept the truth from her son if he had a daughter that needed him?

Here we go again with yet another convoluted story for Carly to be involved about a paternity. Can’t writers think of anything new for the character?? Giving the character a new last name is nothing unless the name change will bring forth change in the character’s persona.
